turkey in the straw, sax quartet
(This is the Box.)-A piece for saxophone quartet and four speakers (or) boomboxes that was premiered 3/30/2017 at the University of Louisville. Feel free to contact sometimes-music for more information/full score.
Program Notes:
Work is a difficult thing to fully observe. (This is the box.) for saxophone and boombox quartet is a fully rehearsed object that is not fully observed. The piece is constructed through many performer-made decisions that alter the presentation on any given morning/afternoon/evening. It should be viewed as a positive/negative ritualistic reflection on the work we display as well as the work we are never able to display. Laugh/cry. This is on purpose.

These Kats on Fire🔥
12 track album
There was a major fire in Colorado last month. The cities of Louisville and Superior were all but burned to the ground. I grew up in Louisville, so this hit really close to home. I threw this album together to raise funds for the many victims of this horrific disaster. All the proceeds for this album will be donated to the Boulder County Community Foundation. So go give it a download and tip generously, because it's all going to a good cause. You can also donate directly by going to http://www.commfound.org/.../Boulder-County-Wildfire-Fund Sorry about posting my deadname, I’m a baby and not out to facebook yet.
These guys are great! Saxophones play Beethoven's String Quartet No. 1 in F Major.
