Since she got lost, she clinged on every familiar place or person she saw. Unfortunately it’s been already a while since she walked around, but with no luck of meeting anyone. Because she noticed that she could move now faster in the water, she decided to walk around the big lage she just found. In a dangerous situation she could just jump into the water and hide. But maybe exactly that decision was what lead her to meet the guitarist of Roselia. It wasn’t hard to recognize at all what she turned into.

“Wow, Sayo-chan you look really beautiful!” It was stunning, her scales and all her other mermaid features were so pretty. It was different from hers, she looked much more plain compared to the mermaid Sayo was. Maybe it was because her kind was called sirenes, however, it was suiting for her to look like that. The outfits of Roselia always were really pretty with so many details as well. “You’re also a mermaid-like creature, right? Did you try to swim already? I-I was so scared when I noticed my fishtail, I couldn’t even really swim before, so... it was a little scary” An embarrassed giggle left her, before she got serious again. “How have you been though? I hope you're not hurt!”

The princess was lured into approaching closer to a certain spot, where she heard some kind of enchanting melody. That must be someone practicing playing an instrument, she knew the sound very well, since one of her old classmates was The Ultimate Musician after all. When she got close enough to see where the music was coming from, her eyes started to sparkle. Such a young and pretty girl was holding a banjo. What a rather uncommon instrument for someone in their age, or at least Sonia didn’t see anyone playing one close up before. 

“My apologies, I do not mean to intrude, but was that you, playing that instrument that gracefully before? You must be really talentet, because that was totes a bop!” Another try to sound more fashionable like other poeple in her age, but she wasn’t too sure if she used these ‘slang words’ right this time. 

“If it is not too much to ask of you, would you mind playing again for me?”

Even though the island life was still pretty new and unfamliliar to Kanon, there was nothing that could go wrong while visiting a cafe in her opinion. Enjoying some black tea with a cake always helped her to calm down, whenever she was feeling nervous or anxious. But it seemed like she wasn’t the only one that had that idea today. That was... Sayo Hikawa, wasn’t it? She herself never talked a whole lot to her until now, but she definitely was a familiar figure to her. It wouldn’t hurt to talk to her, after all, in situations like these, every even slightly familiar figure was a welcome surprise.

“Sayo-chan, it’s you right?” It seems like not only members of ‘Hallo, Happy World’ got lost here. “I didn’t know members of Roselia ended up here too. I-it somehow calms me down a little bit, knowing we’re not alone here... Um... Would you mind if I’d join you and sit here?”

It only made sense to watch the crowds. Lion knew very well that most of the rest of the family was off on their own having a wonderful time, without necessarily keeping tabs on the success or safety of the party overall. The punch was spiked, the house was full of strangers in costumes, what else was one to do?

But not everyone was in costume. Beatrice was right over there, looking terribly confused. Was she lost in her own mansion? Lion approached and took her elbow.

“Don’t tell me you’re drunk, too,” they said gently, leading her up the stairs to one of the quieter rooms. Once there, Lion removed the mask and set it aside. “Are you alright? Do you want me to get you a glass of water? You look pale.”
