Esta canción describe muy bien lo que he sentido en el tiempo con vos.

Siempre es válido dudar, no estar exactamente en el lugar adecuado emocionalmente. Pero al final el espíritu sabe dónde apostar, a donde dirigirse. Y es muy instintivo a veces. Quisiera que esta intuición no se nuble más por la duda. Y se que debo esperar y también seguir trabajando en mi espíritu y mi mente.

#46 - The xx - Say Something Loving

Literally everyone that I’ve talked to about the xx finds their music boring, too similar, moody, and unremarkable. In spite of the negative feedback, I gave their latest album a listen...and I was impressed. The production is haunting and pairs well with the reflective lyrics. In fact, the lyrics might be the best part of this album. They’re raw, but in a poetic sense, not a blunt one. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song so accurately describe the process of what it means to fall in love, and the range of emotions that you feel while it’s happening.

“Were you really looking for me? Try your best to reassure me I wasn't patient to meet you Am I too needy, am I too eager?”

There’s an Alessi Brothers sample that really accentuates the song’s vibe.. The strings and the light percussion create the tension described about in the lyrics.

 Is it mellow and reflective? Yeah. 

Is it “starbucks indie music”? I guess.

The point is that they’re nailing everything that they attempt here. There’s few love songs that are this detailed and rich in sonic quality. That’s my two cents.
