Christmas with Gwen and Ames. My favorite exchange from a longer script that will most likely never be committed to comic form, but I might publish as a log or something. Gwen’s colored that way and hovering around like a wannabe Marceline ‘cos she’s astral projecting. Amelie doesn’t actually speak French either and pronounced that according to English phonetics.

The whole thing was meant to stay light and sketchy, I kinda wish I could do better faster but I got this done in like two or three hours which I think is good? Speed is not something I really want to go into here.

The font is kind of awful ‘cos it’s a handwriting font I never bothered to finesse right, but I didn’t want to keep using Laffayette, it just, doesn’t feel appropriate to my work anymore. I kind of want to start using one with true lowercase glyphs, SGR style.

Panels 2 and 3 were almost just one panel but I really wanted to try for “incredulous” as a facial expression. I think I missed the mark but got in the right zip code.
