Georgia Code § 16-12-103 makes it illegal to sell or distribute 'harmful materials' to minors.
There is currently an exception for public libraries as well as any library that's part of a school, college, or university.
SB 74 removes this exception

They WILL try to do this to the entire United States.
Anyone who violates the law is subject to a "misdemeanor of a high and aggravated nature." If SB 74 is passed, this would include librarians.
