If they kissed, then she would know that he was just like every dude with one shirt and round-framed glasses and the posture of a 3rd grader who stood 2 inches shorter than he actually was. He would leave no footprints in his wake come the day that their time together would expire, no story good enough to rent space in her mind. He would be as relevant to her days later as the sauce stain on her hoodie collar or every movie that she left playing as she drifted to sleep. But maybe he was okay with that.

Woot! SBB was so amazing this year! I haven’t finished reading all of the fics, but I shall finish and comment on all of them! Go read them all! 

Congratulations to the winner! And all the participants for writing such a huge piece of work! I’ve been impressed with all the ones I’ve read, so you should definitely check them all out! 

So here’s my thing:

Summary:  In 1950s Los Angeles, FBI Agent Choi Minho fights to prove himself to both the bureau and the Korean mob, with unexpected results.

The first time Minho laid eyes on him, it was from across a crowded bar, just below the smoke cloud that encompassed the room. Although his beauty was magnetic, the thing that caught his eye had been the beautiful radiance the man emitted. And this was despite the yellowing bruise surrounding his eye. Minho should have been focused on the gorgeous man’s companion, but he couldn’t help but be drawn into the dark, sparkling eyes that seemed to entrance him.

Cheekbones, that look chiseled out of marble, rose in a smile when they noticed Minho’s blatant staring. It made Minho duck his head down in both bashfulness and caution. The last thing he wanted was to call negative attention to himself or the healing boy.
