The Aiden Hair Rant

(Season 2, Episode 93; Photo above.) (Season 1, Episode 1; Photo Below.)

I wonder what kind of bleach Aiden uses to dye his hair. I highly doubt he's going to a salon, but given his initial hair color? That first time bleaching his hair (again, presumably on his own) must've taken a lot of bleach. And even at a Salon, that color must've taken hours to achieve.

Like, I've watched some of my friends with black/really dark hair bleach their hair on the facetime and it takes box after box to get to a medium blonde, let alone a bright blonde.

Although, you can see a tinge of green (hence the photos above) in the start of the Webtoon that disappears pretty quick after meeting Tyler and like warming up to each other (in their own unique way). So I'm guessing Aiden wasn't doing it properly and then Tyler was like "Ew, fix that".

And then it was fixed. Anyways, point still stands, what kind of bleach is Aiden using to dye his hair? Was it a brand change from the start to the now? Was it just a lack of the proper shampoos/toners? Aiden's hair fascinates me.

Additionally, I think it's worth noting that Aiden's hair may have simply changed because Red decided it looked better. Yet, given everything we know about the characters, especially Tyler liking to cut hair and that kind of stuff? I feel like it leans towards a change in product or additional products.

OH ALSO ALSO, AIDEN'S ROOTS COMING IN AT THE END OF SEASON TWO!!! Could this symbolize how all of Aiden's past is slowly coming up to the surface? Not just in a mental and psychological sense, but a physical sense as well? The lack of contacts and the dark roots show how his past is slowly but surely catching up and I think he's gonna have a lot of unpacking to do.

Ranting about SBG ships

Tyden

Tyler and Aiden's chemistry with each other along with some interesting things about them makes the ship really endearing, despite it not being my first, I can see why other people find the ship likable.

First of all, they're a perfect sun and moon duo, like Aidlyn. Except, Tyler is the sun and Aiden is the moon, which makes the situation even more interesting. If you take closer inspection, most of their personalities outside are just built up to hide their actual personality, we can see that Tyler used to be so playful and actually loving back then, and how quiet and depressed Aiden used to be. We can say that Aiden may have changed throughout the years, but we can't just make him the sun in this situation, very much.

Their constant nagging and bantering with each other is also really likable, it not only makes the characters feel more human, but also shows us how much they find it endearing, fun, and (ship implication) lovable.

Both of them used to be really misunderstood characters, literally. Until we see more of their personal life do we see just how their personality is built off of; They're just children who were forced to grow up faster than the others. Which can maybe excuse Aiden's reckless and "immature"(strong word?) nature.

Speaking of personality, both of them are really similar to each other, in some way. Making a mask so good that no one knew they were even wearing one until it completely breaks and shows just how vulnerable they are, they're just like the others, children. (I'm not excusing the other four, of course, but still)

They both took longer to start opening up, Tyler starting to smile and actually start seeing them all as friends, and Aiden starting to drop his smile more and showing his vulnerable side, even starting to show more genuine and warm smiles.

We also see some Tyden content in the actual comic, especially the more recent once(around ep80 and above), and it's not to blame, they really are just some silly fruits.

And lastly, they're tired. All of them are.

Remebr back when Aidlyn and Benlor and Tylenol where the “ships” of SBG but Tyden and Taylyn and such existed to and that was cool and we all liked that and people didn’t hate on other ships 🥰🥰

And no- I’m not just talking about the toxic Aidlyn shippers, BECAUSE - otherrrrr ships have toxic shippers to! And infact a lot of the hate towards Aidlyn ONLY comes from trying to validate another ship! I talked about lot about this last year, unfortunately it’s back again 😓

So if you disagree with me- that’s ok! Opinions exist and that’s mine, if you hate me for this- that’s also ok! Just don’t interact with me! I’m sorry if I sound passive aggressive I’m promise I’m not trying to be ^^

So notably, the kids all have had their names broken down on meaning and they all fit. You wanna know whose name fits their character really well that nobody talks about?

Ms. Hernandez herself.

We wanna talk about bitter characters?? Okay, let's talk then. This woman, this gorgeous, wonderful woman, lost her husband. Then proceeded to watch her son go to a hospital, critical conditions, and given the suddenness of Tyler's incident?

Could've faced the same fate.

I'm not saying Marianna is flawless. By like, any means; because she has arguably been one of the most.. morally gray parents we've had to look at. Because there's is at least a reason for her neglect, unlike with.. certain other parents I will not name.

HOWEVER, she has handled her, likely high, bitterness towards her husband's death with some semblance of grace. She still shows up when it's clearly important to her kids, so like.

Anyways, I really liked this comparison and I think graceful bitterness is one of the best basic representations we could've seen for her character. Or maybe I'm crazy 😭

Waffle Home's Town Theory/Rant

The town the kids got separated in. Just.. Wow. A lot of emotions were dragged from that episode I'm sure, but one thing has been lingering on quite a few people's minds (Mine and @crayfee's at least, plus others in the Discord), which simply is... Where is this town located??

It is time I present to you... The Waffle Home's Town Theory

(That has nothing to do with the Waffle Home unfortunately)

So, this rant could not have been done by me alone first and foremost. I want to literally thank so many helpers, including Cray, on making the likelihoods and narrowing down the possible location of this town down to the best of our abilities. You guys are all super appreciated! <3

For clarification before this rant begins, multiple attempts at google lensing the waffle house has occurred by me, Cray, and the others and there simply isn't enough background details to confirm where the place could be in depth. Let's continue now...

I wanted to start by going through each image listed above and why it is significant to this rant and how it plays into narrowing down a possible location for this town.

To start with that first, small, and frankly slightly blurry image; that is the license plate for the bus Tyler and Aiden are currently in. States have different licenses plates of all sorts of variations, and usually states will change out their license plates every few years. I'm in the process of trying to narrow down some possibilities, The Northwestern states being a possibility, but also plates such as Kansas are Arkansas have caught my eye in tenfold. While yes, this very much could be a bus, buses and bus companies still have to keep their vehicles within a certain distance, so this bus (given the storage unit) probably would accommodate to multiple states surrounding Georgie, assuming they are still in Georgia. The search for similar license plates is ongoing, and the same applies to this theory. The post will be edited as seen fit.

Following that, we were briefly shown the corner of a bowling lane. This bowling lane started with the letters "Tw". Me and Cray spent roughly 30 minutes looking through quite literally every single bowling alley from every single state in an attempt to find one that could be of use. The closet thing we found that could have any far-stretched correlation was a bowling alley in Missouri.

I in particular found this bowling alley intriguing because while the building looks nothing of the building (nor is it next to alleys or many town buildings anyways), it includes three details I felt worth mentioning.

A.) Twin City Bowling. The Twins. Tyler and Taylor. We know that this next season is going to be a whirlwind on the kids and especially these two given their separation anxieties they have proven to have.

B.) Georgia Street. Huh, isn't it convenient that this bowling alley that mentions the twins also happens to be located on a street named after the state that these twins are from? Listen, I'm not saying anything or trying to imply, but if implications must be made, they will be made.

C.) The final detail I found striking was that this bowling alley closes at 12am. Now, despite being in a town where Bowling is like.. the only fun thing to do in the winter unless there's snow? Maybe this generally is a common time for bowling alleys to close-- But despite that I still wanted to point out how all three of these things are increasingly intriguing.

But alas, the bowling alley search also remains unconcluded due to the fickleness of a reliable source, additionally because all these details rose up today and the search is still ongoing.

That middle image was something in the background of one of the shots that caught my eye. We see four building clearly lined up in the background and three of the four remain completely blank. No business indicators, just a red, yellow, and blue blank business signs. However, the one to the far left says 365, something and from what Cray gather that bottom word appears to say "_otto". I think there's a likelihood that since it was shown with a sign amongst other building that this building in particular will show up. I cannot be sure, nor am I exactly sure on what this building is even for!

Then that final detail. The two maps that show the pathway that the driver is driving on. No matter WHERE Logan and Taylor are going, for now, they are only two hours and four minutes away from Ash and Ben (give or take since Ben and Ash were running and sneaking themselves to avoid detection).

These maps are crucial, but Red has blurred them, either because she simply needed a google maps reference that looked important for the shot, or because she quite literally has the town/city area in that image.

I am not one to pry deeper than I need to though (I say as I breakdown background shots that play no relevance in the story) and generally, this theory and rant has a LOT of stuff to work out in terms of credibility, I do however think that we're on the right track!

Or Red simply threw a bunch of random places together and made her own town. But that's not a fun answer for us theorizers, is it?

Generally though, the significance of this town plays little into the plot other than this is where the kids are separated at the end of season two. Unless we come *BACK* to this town or we see the text Logan sent to Alex (possibly detailing where they were).

I genuinely would not be upset or anything of that matter if we never found out, but given the fact I've began to run dry in terms of dissecting every panel for theories on the kids, this seems like a long term project that is bound to keep me occupied for the next few weeks while I work on finding this place with the help of the Discord server.

Actually... Correction, this town will be relevant for likely a small bit longer as this is where Ben and Ash are stuck for the time being. Until they figure something out in regards to where Aiden and Tyler went and *quickly*, they will most likely be here for at least a day or two.

How bad do you think Tyler is going to freak out when he realizes Taylor is gone (and for the time being, *possibly* dead)?

We saw how bad Taylor freaked out when he fell out the car and was in the hospital. I bet Tyler is going to be so stressed and livid to a point he is opening the rift between the Phantom Dimension and real world for scary long amounts of time.

Maybe that'd be the way they learn to control the rifts? Because Tyler is so overwhelmingly angry for such a long period of time that they begin to use it to help them??

I dunno if that'll happen, but I can bet that Tyler is not gonna be rational to start and that might cause some tension.

I wouldn't be surprised if Red were to use Tyler's anger as a pretty decent part of the plot in Season 3. Based on what Red said on the discord server about us probably not liking the first half of season three, we can probably assume the first half is going to rip us to shreds and it only begins to get resolved or is resolved by that halfway mark.

Obviously, these are all my silly rambles and thoughts and they may not be super coherent since I'm exhausted lolll

I uhhh, I put this on the discord but it felt like too good of a theory/rant to waste 😭

So like, I know we haven't seen nearly enough of the Phantom Dimensions creatures and creepy crawlers to necessarily have a clear idea, but how does sizing work for the phantom dimensions weird forms of life??

Phantoms seem at least somewhat normal. Definitely taller than average, or at least taller than average compared to the teenagers. Though maybe the height just varies with them? I haven't exactly kept a keen eye, but they seem normal given the fact they are meant to be a counterpart to humans.

However, with creatures like the centipede, that's way taller than whatever can be considered average. And I don't think I've ever noticed bugs being an issue for the kids. Like not even one line from my memory? If there was any mention, it was likely in earlier chapters and was a line easy to overlook.

Which, given the fact they are consistently and constantly outside or having windows open?? Seems kind of suspicious to me 🤷

So because that centipede was enormous and there appears to be a lack of bugs, what about usually big animals? Like bears, are they smaller than average? Is there this weird backwards logic on how animals in the Phantom Dimension function?

Or is this possibly a result of human animals being tested on and thrown into the rift and then the phantom dimension turning genetically modified insect or animals, such as the centipede, into these monster like creatures that torment the beloved six?

I swear I could back this up with time (and crumbs) if I sifted through the first season again, for now I suppose this is all just a question and theory with no answer 😔💔

Or maybe Red just made the centipede big for theatrics and I'm quite literally grabbing at the air.

HOWEVER!!! If it was true and the phantom dimension followed one of these theories, are the kids going to find out and be able to either reverse genetic modifications OR generally handle the sizing of the phantom creatures differently?

I dunno!
