Can we talk about how sweet Red is for a minute? Not like in the glazing, idolization sense- but in the "Wow, she really is a good person who cares about others"
Textbook example below:
The best example we have because of how private Red has kept her identity and self is through the comic.
She has included her sister in it, I know Nic has been involved in the writing of a few episodes (Nic don't fire me and Red don't fire Nic, he didn't give any details whatsoever 💔), and overall, you can tell how much she seems to like doing that.
I can tell based on the very few interactions we've seen that Red's sister has played a decent part in the comic's scenes and direction it takes and I think that is super sweet to think about.
I never doubted Red was sweet yet I don't think I've openly seen creators have their direct family help them with creating their stories and art. So I just think it's another one of those things that makes Red super cool!!
This is just a short little ramble, not necessarily sbg focused, but also kind of sbg focused haha
When you realize that if it weren't for the facility kidnapping the kids then the second they shifted back to THE PHANTOM DIMENSION THEY WOULD'VE BEEN KILLED-- THEY WOULD'VE BEEN CRUSHED BY THE FALLING BUILDING, THE FACILITY SAVED THEM AS MUCH AS IT DOOMED THEM--
I'm very disappointed in my searching capabilities because I need a panel of Kid Logan for an ultimate tier list I'm making with like. Every possibly character I can find in the SBG franchise, facility, PD versions, background, main, parents, and kid versions alike. 💔
Unfortunately for me there's no official panels or even doodles made by Red of Logan as a child (probably given his backstory), I can always edit the tier list and add it later, but it'd still be unfortunate I fear 🥀
Astro, I gotta know, what's your least favorite types of poses to draw? Like, from the side, behind, shoulder over or behind, etc.
I FINALLY locked in an art style that I am consistently drawing with but now I'm struggling to make the poses more.. Life like I guess?? I can send a couple images if you need a visualization 😔
Sorry for bothering you queen, I just need to know I'm not the only one thugging this out 💔
my least favourite pose to draw is….every single one :D from the side is especially hard cos idk where the collarbones or arms or butt or where anything goes so I just freehand it hope that it looks somewhat accurate 😠drawing the back of a character is hard too. My go-to pose whenever I’m doodling is just a 3/4 standing pose lolz
My biggest prayer being the hope that Red tells us where the kids are is crazy. Like I just want to know what town these kids are in. I don't even want to go there, I just want to know 🥀
I think I love SBG because it's an unpredictable series.
Like, half of the events that took place, I could not have suspected, and that has made me absolutely love this series so so so much more.
Tyler falling on the tree? Couldn't have guessed it was happening until the fateful chapter where he fell out of the car.
Aiden's head getting crushed like 6 chapters later? Yeah, I expected someone was gonna die again, but that soon and in that way?
And even all the tiny details I only caught one rereading the series, like what the paper cranes were meant to indicate on Mr. Thomas' desk, or the tiny crane on Jasmine's phone case when we are first introduced to her.
All of it points to a plot that was crafted under structured chaos, one that Red acknowledges that doesn't try to cover it up either, hence her bio on Webtoon saying "I don't know what I'm doing, but that's okay. You probably don't either."
None of us theorizers, fans, writers, or artists genuinely have a (solid) clue what we are working with in terms of plotline for season three. We aren't gonna know where Aiden and Tyler end up. We don't know what will happen to Ash and Ben since they are still in the town. And we definitely have a vague idea, but zero certainty on what will happen to Logan and Taylor.
That's what I think has kept me so hooked on this community and series. A story that you never actually know what's gonna happen, no matter how many good ideas and theories you produce. It adds excitement, enticement, and overall a huge shock value factor when plot twists do occur.
Also I just really like Red's art style, work, and the community she managed to built with six teenagers and a scary dimension they get stuck in-
I know for some things, she probably just reblogs it because she likes the theory or idea, (example, she has tried to stay what seems to be neutral on ships but reblogged Ashler art a while back)
But for certain things, like Aiden's Hair Rant, or even theories I have about Logan and general commentary?? It makes me feel super proud I took a step in a direction.
What direction, I could not tell you, but definitely a direction!

I have a feeling that Season 3 is going to be one of the only seasons it'll be hard to make jokes about. There will be funny moments, I'm sure, but unlike season 1 and 2 where the kids were all together?
I just feel like it'll be hard even if it's not impossible. I know this community finds a lot of comfort in the characters and the ability to make jokes about someone literally being impaled by a tree is kind of an elite skill by my standards-
I don't know, all I know is that when season 3 does release, I will personally be very very quiet on Tumblr (not discord because of the spoilers chat that will be brought back with season three), as I will be purchasing fast pass/coins and idk how to shut up, but also because I just generally want to wait to see more of the season before I make any commentary. I will try to only post about episodes that are fully released every week as a way to make sure nobody gets spoilers on this account, and if I do post about spoilers, it will *always* be under a cut (I won't most likely because of pirating tho)
I just know this season is gonna probably pull a lotttt of emotion out of me icl.
I'm lowkey excited though, I'm sure Red (as well as everyone else who has helped her write episodes, such as Nic, her sister probably at some point, and her editor Aria) cooked like freaking crazy when it comes to the writing portion and all her artists (Jiwoo, yayu_sensai, Novastra, and H.A_rielle, as well as Red herself) did/are doing wonderful when it comes to helping put this project together!
ME AND RED HAVE THE SAME DRAWING TABLET I REALIZED?? (I have a 13.3 inch and she has like a 24 inch based on pictures, but it's the same brand 😛)
Now I just have to save money for a Clip Studio Paint membership 💔
Comparison images below 😋
Red's Drawing Tablet:
My Drawing tablet (I don't have a picture rn so here's the one on amazon, Lord forgive me):
That's cool, I found the tablet stored with some art stuff in my closet and I kinda forgot I had it ðŸ˜
Red should try and see if designed shoes for merch is possible? Like Aiden's shoes but with the yellow smiley face on his bag? Maybe the smiley face located on the ankle area of the shoe?? I'm not too sure--
Even if this is like a few years from now idea, I genuinely think a lot of people would buy them because generally the design is simplistic enough to look normal but it still has a touch of Aiden in it.
A drag path but it's every mark left by the kids inside the school bus graveyard.
The weapons, the footprints.
All the buses where they hung out, played games, watched movies.
The whiteboard they used (probably still with their plans or their newest ones before they were captured).
The group chat.
The workers they chatted with in Savannah.
The Waffle Home they sat in for an attempt of solice.
The way they anticipated the night and adjusted to 12am being a dreadful time.
Every set aside extracurricular and club.
Every missed homework assignment.
Every good morning from Mr. Thomas that seemed strangely chipper that they failed to notice.
The paper cranes on Mr. Thomas' desk.
Their first nights.
The new lights to the wall.
Their first successful mission outside the wall to get the jeep.
Their time in the arcade when Logan put Barron in his place.
All the way to that cookout where even the parents were a sign of their drag path.
It's all the ways they can never truly forget what happened to them.
How they'll grow to cope, yet be paranoid. If they make it that far, that is.
Logan will never forget what it felt like to shoot someone.
Ashlyn will never forget the guilt that came with every bad turn, horrible death, and overall? The situation itself.
Aiden will have to accept the fact of what his trauma was and stop fronting it with a smile to recover.
Tyler won't forget what it felt like to have an entire tree ripping through his gut and tearing up his organs.
Taylor won't forget the feeling of helplessness when she watched her brother fall to his literal death while being chased by a monstrously sized centipede phantom.
Ben will never get over the anxiety of worrying over his friends and family. His anger will resurface in tenfold and he'll struggle more than ever to cope.
The drag path that the kids left behind is always one that will astonish me.
Every deliberately placed detail, expression, reaction, word, and movement that Red approved and sent through?
That drag path will forever be carved into the stone of these kids minds.
The town the kids got separated in. Just.. Wow. A lot of emotions were dragged from that episode I'm sure, but one thing has been lingering on quite a few people's minds (Mine and @crayfee's at least, plus others in the Discord), which simply is... Where is this town located??
It is time I present to you... The Waffle Home's Town Theory
(That has nothing to do with the Waffle Home unfortunately)
So, this rant could not have been done by me alone first and foremost. I want to literally thank so many helpers, including Cray, on making the likelihoods and narrowing down the possible location of this town down to the best of our abilities. You guys are all super appreciated! <3
For clarification before this rant begins, multiple attempts at google lensing the waffle house has occurred by me, Cray, and the others and there simply isn't enough background details to confirm where the place could be in depth. Let's continue now...
I wanted to start by going through each image listed above and why it is significant to this rant and how it plays into narrowing down a possible location for this town.
To start with that first, small, and frankly slightly blurry image; that is the license plate for the bus Tyler and Aiden are currently in. States have different licenses plates of all sorts of variations, and usually states will change out their license plates every few years. I'm in the process of trying to narrow down some possibilities, The Northwestern states being a possibility, but also plates such as Kansas are Arkansas have caught my eye in tenfold. While yes, this very much could be a bus, buses and bus companies still have to keep their vehicles within a certain distance, so this bus (given the storage unit) probably would accommodate to multiple states surrounding Georgie, assuming they are still in Georgia. The search for similar license plates is ongoing, and the same applies to this theory. The post will be edited as seen fit.
Following that, we were briefly shown the corner of a bowling lane. This bowling lane started with the letters "Tw". Me and Cray spent roughly 30 minutes looking through quite literally every single bowling alley from every single state in an attempt to find one that could be of use. The closet thing we found that could have any far-stretched correlation was a bowling alley in Missouri.
I in particular found this bowling alley intriguing because while the building looks nothing of the building (nor is it next to alleys or many town buildings anyways), it includes three details I felt worth mentioning.
A.) Twin City Bowling. The Twins. Tyler and Taylor. We know that this next season is going to be a whirlwind on the kids and especially these two given their separation anxieties they have proven to have.
B.) Georgia Street. Huh, isn't it convenient that this bowling alley that mentions the twins also happens to be located on a street named after the state that these twins are from? Listen, I'm not saying anything or trying to imply, but if implications must be made, they will be made.
C.) The final detail I found striking was that this bowling alley closes at 12am. Now, despite being in a town where Bowling is like.. the only fun thing to do in the winter unless there's snow? Maybe this generally is a common time for bowling alleys to close-- But despite that I still wanted to point out how all three of these things are increasingly intriguing.
But alas, the bowling alley search also remains unconcluded due to the fickleness of a reliable source, additionally because all these details rose up today and the search is still ongoing.
That middle image was something in the background of one of the shots that caught my eye. We see four building clearly lined up in the background and three of the four remain completely blank. No business indicators, just a red, yellow, and blue blank business signs. However, the one to the far left says 365, something and from what Cray gather that bottom word appears to say "_otto". I think there's a likelihood that since it was shown with a sign amongst other building that this building in particular will show up. I cannot be sure, nor am I exactly sure on what this building is even for!
Then that final detail. The two maps that show the pathway that the driver is driving on. No matter WHERE Logan and Taylor are going, for now, they are only two hours and four minutes away from Ash and Ben (give or take since Ben and Ash were running and sneaking themselves to avoid detection).
These maps are crucial, but Red has blurred them, either because she simply needed a google maps reference that looked important for the shot, or because she quite literally has the town/city area in that image.
I am not one to pry deeper than I need to though (I say as I breakdown background shots that play no relevance in the story) and generally, this theory and rant has a LOT of stuff to work out in terms of credibility, I do however think that we're on the right track!
Or Red simply threw a bunch of random places together and made her own town. But that's not a fun answer for us theorizers, is it?
Generally though, the significance of this town plays little into the plot other than this is where the kids are separated at the end of season two. Unless we come *BACK* to this town or we see the text Logan sent to Alex (possibly detailing where they were).
I genuinely would not be upset or anything of that matter if we never found out, but given the fact I've began to run dry in terms of dissecting every panel for theories on the kids, this seems like a long term project that is bound to keep me occupied for the next few weeks while I work on finding this place with the help of the Discord server.
Actually... Correction, this town will be relevant for likely a small bit longer as this is where Ben and Ash are stuck for the time being. Until they figure something out in regards to where Aiden and Tyler went and *quickly*, they will most likely be here for at least a day or two.
ANYWAYSSS!!
Sasha out! xoxo
(As stated before, this post will likely be updated with new findings and discoveries. If season three starts and this town ceases to play relevance within the first 10 episodes, the post will remain unedited for the remainder of sbg unless it pops up again)
