Okay so random but I love Hot Pants (she’s my goat of sbr) and I wanted to do some headcanons of her 🥹🫶

Also random but I was wondering if anybody would be interested in me writing for any of Junji Ito’s characters..? 🌝 Lmk because I reread a bunch of his mangas and I’m INSPIRED 🙏

- The first Stand ambush you survive together changes everything: she yanks you out of the line of fire and uses Cream Starter to seal your wounds with that disturbing, warm “flesh spray,” muttering that you are “too useful to let die here.”

- You notice how brutally efficient she is in battle, weaponizing Cream Starter to blind, suffocate, and dismember enemies, yet her hands tremble very slightly when she turns the same Stand toward healing you instead.

- Hot Pants starts sharing practical advice in the most tsundere way possible: adjusting your saddle, shoving spare rations at you, and criticizing your form while clearly drawing on her own skill as a seasoned jockey in the race.

- Around the campfire, she always sits just out of reach, half in shadow, but her eyes keep tracking every little thing you do - how steady your hands are when you clean your gear, whether you flinch at distant gunshots, how exhausted your horse looks after each stage.

- When you accidentally overhear hints about her mission from Naples and the Vatican, she pins you with a cold stare and demands to know exactly what you heard, making it painfully clear she is used to playing every side alone.

- Eventually, she lets a fraction of her past slip - only in fragmented comments about “sins that don’t wash off” and “jobs that don’t allow attachments” - and the way she goes silent afterward makes you realize how rare it is for her to let anyone see the weight she carries.

- On the harsher stages, she insists you ride just behind her so she can take the brunt of hostile fire and sudden terrain hazards, claiming it is “tactically optimal,” even though every part of her body language reads as fiercely protective.

- When a Stand user targets you specifically, Hot Pants becomes almost frighteningly relentless, pushing Cream Starter to its limits and transforming her own body if she has to, as if the idea of losing you is more terrifying than sacrificing more of herself.

- One night, while treating the cuts on your hands, she uses Cream Starter as gently as possible and murmurs that your body already “carries enough scars for this race,” which is the closest she has come to actually saying she worries about you.

- The first time you brush her hair out of her face or adjust her collar, she freezes - as if physical affection is completely foreign - and then awkwardly leans just a little closer, letting you fuss over her under the pretense of “fixing your partner’s appearance.”

- As the race nears its end and the corpse parts conflict escalates, she starts planning routes and contingencies with “we” instead of “I,” unconsciously placing you in every scenario where she imagines surviving this ordeal.

- Whether she gets to stay by your side or not, Hot Pants leaves you with one last, uncharacteristically open truth: that meeting you made the endless penance of this mission feel a little less like punishment, and a little more like something worth choosing.

SBR Favs with a sick S/O

Johnny Joestar

Looks like he doesn't care but is actually panicking on the inside.

Threatens the doctor if they don't take your symptoms seriously. Kicks them out and calls Gyro instead.

"Are you feeling any better?" Asks you every 15 minutes.

Mysteriously disappears and returns hours later with everything you need and more.

Has a secret, mini break down before coming to you with an offer to steal the Saint's Corpse to cure you faster.

Makes sure you get plenty of fresh air even if he has to carry you out himself.

Cries in relief when you start recovering.

Gyro Zeppeli

Calm, cool, collected and serious.

Closely listens to your symptoms and asks all the right questions to deduce the best approach to making you feel better.

If your symptoms get worse, he rushes you off to the Zeppeli family clinic and that's how you end up meeting his parents.

He admits you into his bedroom instead of the beds available in the clinic. 🥲

Fluffs up your pillows, bundles you up in blankets, gives you his teddy bear to keep you company and makes sure you have everything you need and within reach before leaving.

Doesn't care if your illness is infectious, he will kiss and snuggle with you when he comes back.

Takes you out on a fancy date when you recover.

Diego Brando

Is panicking on the inside and is panicking on the outside.

Would get angry at you for getting yourself sick so expect a lecture about the importance of taking care of yourself.

Taking you to the hospital and making you see a doctor whether you like it or not.

Nearly mauls the doctor when they tell him theres nothing they can do and to just follow home remedies until your sickness runs its course.

Refuses to leave your side but if he really has to, he would leave a mini dino with you to keep an eye on you while he's away.

Acts grumpy but would snuggle with you all night.

Gets himself sick in the end too! 💀

Hot Pants

Like Johnny, they look like they don't care but are actually very worried for you.

Makes you listen to the doctor and makes sure you are taking your meds and resting like you've been told to.

Also prays for your speedy recovery!

If you try to act like you're fine and not sick at all, they would see right through you and force you back into bed.

Only leaves when you promise to take it easy and rest.

Understands when you don't feel like eating but still gently coaxes you to eat a little bit.

Makes you your favorite dishes when you recover.

johnny joestar: transmasc, gay, he/him.

he started feeling like a boy around the danny/nicholas incident and his father was (obviously) very unsupportive, thinking he was just a tomboy and it was all a phase. nobody seemed to support him, even nicholas (whom he trusted most in the whole world) was having trouble with understanding. danny didn't care about his gender though, danny couldn't misgender him. thats why he didn't want to get rid of him like his father asked even more. i dont need to explain the gay. there is nothing straight about johnny and gyro. that being said he was totally in denial at first.

gyro zeppeli: cis bisexual, he/him.

oh he had it figured out a long time ago. he's just attracted to femininity really, it doesn't matter if they're male or female. this is one fruity man and everyone knows it. his dad knew it before he did. he picks up lassies at the bar, if it turns out to be a guy- hey! all the better ;)

diego brando: ??, masc attracted, he/they.

i cant decide whether diego is transmasc or cis. i feel like he really fits being trans but also it doesnt really feel right to some extent. he's defo masc attracted. hot pants?? very masc. attracted. gyro?? (otp incoming) GAY YES ATTRACTED. my boy is a sucker for masculine people. i think he'd just be attracted to men but HP rocked his world and now he just doesn't know. scary monsters fucked up his perception of his gender too, since SM is female. diego's just a mess of questioning everything, hes a mess of confusion. he doesnt like labelling himself.

hot pants: genderfluid, male attracted (they/them)

they just really dont care what anyone else thinks or how they're percieved. cream starter is the ultimate gender euphoria stand bro. i don't have much to say about them but have you seen the way they treat diego ehehe

MAN. look have you seen him of course he's fruity. he loves his wife so much but they do have an open relationship in secret (ill make another post about it soon). he just doesnt really feel like gender is a fixed thing, its totally fluid to him so he responds to "mrs. president" and feminine titles. they also respond to feminine pronouns even though they don't really use them! he's had female and male lovers

Diego Brando with a quiet s/o who loves zoology and art:

Being quiet is one of the qualities Diego appreciates more about his s/o, since he is a talkative person. He would talk about dinosaurs and prehistory for hours on end as they listened, giving them the chance to give their input from time to time.

He would absolutely love that his s/o is into zoology. They could share animal facts and study dinosaurs together (which Diego has an unhealthy obsession with in my headcanon). Everyone else would think the two of them are a bit weird to like such things that much, but they don’t care at all.

Art is something Diego could also enjoy, especially traditional art. He wouldn’t mind going to art museums or exhibitions with his s/o and hearing to them talk about the artwork if they’d like, even though he might not understand everything about it.

Overall they would be a cute couple with a weird interest in animals or dinosaurs, and Diego would love sharing that interest with them, especially if he can do the talking most of the time. He thinks that their quietness is cute, anyways.

I just thought I'd do these because in ever fic I start or post and just in my head these are so canon to me. Some are pretty widely believed and some I just somehow thought of and can't not see as completely in character. It's not particularly modern AU, most are just in general.

🔹JOHNNY

- not completely quadriplegic as in the modern era a think even in a shitty hospital he would keep very mind sensation waist down

- not able to walk but after meeting gyro he would learn to walk using crutches after years of help from Dr. Zeppeli

- preppy af but secretly enjoys alt subcultures that his dad would disapprove of

- loves cute things but after everything that happened to his childhood mouse Danny he's never owned a pet and never asked for one

- keeps a journal/diary and is a suprisingly talented artist

- terrified of the water and swimming in general. Also never learnt to swim as a rich kid in the middle of Kentucky.

- grew up in a strictly religious household and hated religion until he later started to accept Christianity again in his adult years

- Asperger's autism. Speaking from experience.

- sort of guy to be fine with social situations and acts very friendly but talks shit behind everybody's backs

- amazing gamer

- gets incredibly clingy and attached easily to people and objects but doesn't show it until something might threaten separation

- incredibly fragile masculinity

🔹 GYRO

- owns many more stuffed animals back home

- incredibly smart and johnny learns more lore about him even after years of knowing eachother

- curly hair 🤤

- gains muscle so easily and it makes Johnny incredibly jealous since Gyro barely works out and Johnny was an athlete

- enjoys watching drag race with johnny (tequila joseph is their favourite queen)

- Italian orthodox Christian in an orthodox/catholic family though not strictly as his father is a man of science at heart

- sort of guy to donate to charity

- has really terrible slapstick humour from basically only associating with his younger siblings throughout his childhood

- LOUD when comfortable

- never had a proper girlfriend as very girl he was interested in was usually a patient who'd be released after she got better, and never called him back.

- kind of blissfully naiive when trusting of somebody, and becomes incredibly protective when he finds somebody he knows accepts him

🔹 DIEGO

- Johnny's cousin somehow idk how but they have to be related one way or another

- has insomnia

- was roommates with johnny for a while but was eventually kicked out after stealing and breaking a coffee machine

- tries incredibly hard to stay healthy and fit (no smoking, no drinking recreationally other than occasions, and definitely no drugs)

- 5'3 (160cm). Four apples tall.

- absolutely mama's boy forever. Bought her a grave after marrying his ex-wife.

- very clearly autistic. Bullied for it.

- dinosaur hyperfixation (his favourite is the Utahraptor)

- Atheist...or more he believes he is God.

- curly hair ugh I love curly hair I'm so jealous if you are reading this and have curls you are blessed

- talks to Silver Bullet

- actually really loves the admiration he gets from his fans and reads his fan letters when he's feeling down

- isn't good at using technology

- bisexual tendencies (well they all are a bit but I think johnny, gyro and hot pants prefer girls whereas Diego is completely 50/50) (Johnny's exception is Gyro and Gyro's exception is Johnny)

- finds comfort in quiet and understimulation, maybe just sitting together talking

- puts on a posh accent but whenever he's upset he reverts back to a cockney lilt

🔹HOT PANTS

- has intense OCD compulsions, always checking her surroundings

- devoutly catholic

- multilingual (gyro is too. They probably both know english, italian, spanish, german and french though gyro may know multiple italian dialects since his family originates in southern italy.)

- very good at maths and probably plays piano very well

- had shorter darker hair as a kid, she's always been very androgynous

- participates in mario kart pizza nights with gyro, johnny and diego (when he's invited) and wins often

- wears a rosary under her binder and finds solice in the feeling of it against her skin

- has incredible survival skills and probably went to lots of youth camps (can sew, cook, hunt and make shelter)

- introverted but doesn't get shy easily

- real name is Hazel. And yes I've considered it canon ever since I read Heat Death Harmony. REAL DINOPANTS TRUTHERS KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT

🔹LUCY

- Johnny's her big brother and H.P is her big sister (at heart)

- suprisingly best music taste out of the whole gang

- wants to do law when she grows up

- favourite animals are rabbits

- H.P puts her nun skills to use and raises her to be able to take care of herself and defend herself

- Steven is her adoptive father

- filed a lawsuit against valentine and won

- begins learning horseriding herself (I mean she's really good at it considering how many times she's canonically on horseback with no prior experience)

- beautiful handwriting

- H.P brings her to sunday school

- she would find brainrot really stupid which disappoints gyro a lot

- loves old disney movies

Physical headcanons

🔹again most of these are modern au headcanons but some can be applied to canon

(includes Johnny, Gyro, Diego, Hot Pants, Lucy)

🔹JOHNNY

. 5'8 to 5'10 average height for his age, gender and weight

. can put on muscle and weight easily

. muscular upper body and retained his calves since they have incredible muscle memory, though lost almost all leg muscle, thighs thinner than an olive garden breadstick 💔

. light strawberry-blonde hair still short but enough to barley make an usagi alohaoe ponytail, quite straight but has nice volume

. broad shoulders and a more masculine frame despite being so slender and aerodynamic

. smells of musk but in a fresh sense, outdoors a lot

. biggest bluest eyes, light greyish blue, absolutely terrifying

. light freckles, doesn't tan or get sunburn but the uv exposure does have long term effects on his skin

. average sized hands but slender shorter fingers, short nails which he bites sometimes. chipped blue nail polish.

. wears no jewellery or has tattoos/piercings

. round face with high cheekbones and a straight or button nose

. quite a monotonous voice

. in a modern au I picture him wearing either a beanie or headphones or both at all times, graphic tees layered with long sleeved shirts, probably a lot of racing merchandise shirts, cropped blue hoodie over clothes, baggy jeans or work pants. dresses like a masc lesbian a lot - or a depressed preppy kid - which he is. I like the blue ans pink colour palette heaps but in a modern au he'd probably shy away from the pink a bit more so primarily whites and blues.

🔹GYRO

. over 6'0 maybe around 6'1

. big big boy lawd help me

. naturally muscular, not an athletic person he's too busy being a doctor and the cutest person in the world, so his muscles aren't too defined. strong via brute force.

. suprisingly hourglass figure for such a man

. in a modern au Johnny would for sure push him to try modelling

. very well coordinated large hands he is a surgeon he has operated on people as well as ridden horses with ease so uh..very skilled with his hands. this isn't even favoritism talking here it's canon it's canon.

. long curly hair down to his waist. sun-bleached blonde, naturally much more hints of brown.

. roman nose. I want to avoid brittany spears face headcanons even though they all look very much like her, I believe he'd have a lot more Italian features realistically since his whole family originates from southern Italy.

. olive skin that tans like caramel. has some moles.

. smells of fancy cologne (and antibacterial after work)

. brown to green eyes, realistically having pickle eyes makes a lot of sense but agh I can't let go of the iconic neon green eyes

. rectangular or diamond faceshape. defined cheekbones and jawline. rough patches of facial hair on his jaw.

. might have pierced ears and perhaps the lines on his arms are tattoos that's up to interpretation and I because I'm the one in charge of the headcanons I think they are

. wears gold jewellery

. meow beautiful Italian accent. very lively intonated voice. has a tendency to sing or quote old vines often.

. in a modern au, whenever he's not wearing scrubs, he'd wear button down shirts with the sleeves rolled up and either straight leg denim jeans or dress pants with that fugly belt in gold. casual at-home just a tank top, boxers and graphic socks so weird you'd wonder where he even bought them.

🔹DIEGO

. 5'3 to 5'4. short king.

. like a chihuahua he has a lot of personality to make up for that little body

. incredibly athletic build, body of a professional jockey dedicated to victory, most defined muscles out of everybody

. has the cleanest body hair and facial hair out of everybody

. diamond face shape, sharp jawline and masculine cheekbones. androgynous yet masculine like Dio?? if that makes sense

. veins in his face and neck protrude cartoonishly when angry

. thick eyebrows that he definitely gets done

. permanent smug lips like he's perpetually dissatisfied with you

. straight nose, small fracture lump before the bridge

. gets sunburnt BAD crispy bacon ass cooked skin peeling off like cellophane if you aren't pale as fuck you don't know how painful this is, diego wouldn't be super pale either, he's just got dario genes I guess

. piss blonde hair

. no it's actually so pretty I sound like I hate him I promise he's maybe my favourite character basically

. more like sandy blonde hair, layered loose curls, long waves down his back

. I feel like his fringe has ringlets and is curly but the curls straighten out the longer the mullet grows out

. almond shaped teal eyes and thick dark eyelashes

. sharp teeth, particularly incisors.

. naturally higher pitched cockney accent but he puts on a deep posh voice

. raptor chirping stimming sounds is mandatory and almost the entire reason I made this post.

. smells of headache-inducing cologne and horse

. large hands and long calloused fingers. his nails grow long fast so he has to cut them obsessively to fit well in his gloves

. heard somebody say in 17th century england it was a fad for popular men to have nipple piercings so take that as you will.

. modern Diego would be very try-hard preppy in his Ralph Lauren polos but still be ostracized, people either love him or hate him but nobody hates him more than other preppy horse kids. Johnny.

🔹HOT PANTS

. 5'10 maybe a bit taller than Johnny

. tall with broad shoulders, slender body but very masculine frame for a woman

. muscular from working out but not much more than that, just naturally strong arms, abs and thighs.

. square faceshape with a jaw on the softer side and high cheekbones

. straight nose with breaks from early childhood

. pale from indoor prayer but able to tan well if she wanted to. few moles and freckles.

. cuts her own hair meticulously. sharp fringe and layered longer bob, a bit too long to be considered a bob but whatever.

. naturally reddish-brown hair that she lightly dyes to give it that pink tinge

. no tattoos or piercings

. wears a metal rosary under a chest binder. C-cup btw.

. deep smooth voice, calm and controlling

. round dark grey eyes with thick dark lashes

. dark eyebrows and heavy brow bone

. smells of brick and wine, something thick and luscious but she swears she doesn't use any perfume

. thin hands with long scared fingers

. talks very little but her words are often weighted in wisdom, doesn't talk about herself often but more gives advice and asks questions about the world around her

. in modern au would wear her hair always out with a striped long sleeve shirt and dark pink hakama pants, alternatively, a modest layered pink tshirt over her striped long sleeve with pink shorts over striped leggings and pink leg warmers.

. when alone to pray she'd likely wear solid modest colours and her rosary above her clothes

🔹LUCY

. 5'1, still growing, will soon overtake Diego.

. little muscle from living such an upperclass lifestyle she likely wouldn't have been running around adventuring and exercising as much as the average kid, but still healthy

. slender and holds herself polite and modestly

. light blonde hair that will darken slightly with age, slightly wavy but you wouldn't be able to tell at the length it is at

. looks very similar to Johnny and are often assumed siblings

. round face shape and small button nose. not fully matured features so not very obvious cheekbones of jawline.

. smells of those room aroma things y'know the bottles that people but the reed straws in and leave on windowsills?

. pale with very very light freckles

. similar eyes to lil' jo but lighter and less filled with rage

. I picture her sounding like alice in wonderland

. occasionally wears a small necklace or bracelet

. in modern au she'd wear a white frilled blouse beneath her signature dress, white or black stockings, and pink sunday shoes. casually a long sleeve sanrio shirt and jeans.
