This is Alexander, but I call him Haunches because his back legs jut out like that when he sits
He likes to be pushed, meaning he likes it when you pet him really hard. He also likes sitting on counters and batting at you with his paws to remind you to push him.

This is Violet, though I’ve taken to calling her Scabitha because she’s allergic to something and is covered in scabs
She doesn’t like when you touch her because of her condition, but she loves touching you; she’s a active petter, she likes it when you leave your hand out so she can pet herself
