Alright, making this public again! Hope you like dinosaurs.
I am so happy to announce that my senior film "The Catcher" has been selected for the 6th Annual San Francisco Film Festival! I am honored to have my film presented to an audience of military and veterans. I hope I get the chance to attend.
it’s finally done (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
this is a storyboard animatic that i wrote & drew over the course of ten weeks for my sequential art senior project. it's real messy but i worked super hard on it and i hope it makes ur day just a little bit brighter!
& stay tuned for a version with sound, most likely probably coming this summer but for now i must sleep (- o – ) zzZ
I graduated. It’s official because I made a thing.
animation or sequential art for storyboarding
MORE ART QUESTIONS!!
doing research & still havent been able to cleae this one up. if i want to do primarily storyboarding as a career, am i better suited majoring in animation or sequential art? im hearing different things from both sides & im not sure which would teach me more & be more beneficial for my career.
right now ive been accepted to scad & sva as an animation major but waitlisted for sva. in the case i dont get accepted to sva, scad will be my fallback. if i end up going to scad, should i change my major to sequential arts or stay with animation? which would i get more out of?
sva waitlist
i’ve been waitlisted for sva animation fall 2017, and i’ve been in this limbo of not knowing if i’ll really be able to go or not :x this is my dream school and its nice to know they think i have what it takes, but unfortunate that it took me so long to apply.. the statistics show only 30% of people who are waitlisted get officially accepted & i know i’m one of hundreds but im like DJGJGFDG i just emailed admissions and i’ll be calling them later this afternoon to see where i rank on the list and see if its even worth waiting on. if so i don’t know where i’ll go otherwise, i’ve been accepted to scad too but the reviews on their school and animation program vary greatly. i have also considered mica but heard their animation program isn’t the strongest. if any sva students or scad students have any advice or anything, plz don’t hesitate to hmu, im pretty lost here haha thank you in advance. i know im yelling out into the void but i don’t really know where to go from here
on another note, i’m beginning to doubt my major choices entirely?? my dream job would be a storyboard artist, but i’m unsure whether it would be best to pursue a sequential arts major or animation for that. which would be more tailored to storyboarding? i’m doing research but the internet isn’t being much help, if anyone has any input please please PLEASE talk to me
