✨📚 BOOKANEER 📚✨

My thesis film “The Prince’s Test” is now up for viewing everywhere! I’ve put the last nine months into this baby, and I hope you like it ^_^
This is my rough animation from the music video I had to animate for my final for my sophomore animation class. There’s still a lot of work to be done on it but hopefully I finish it up this summer.
This song is an original peace written by my dad, Don Hammontree, titled Playtime With Chafe.
“Bookaneer” film by Michelle Krivanek
Coming May 14!

sva waitlist
i’ve been waitlisted for sva animation fall 2017, and i’ve been in this limbo of not knowing if i’ll really be able to go or not :x this is my dream school and its nice to know they think i have what it takes, but unfortunate that it took me so long to apply.. the statistics show only 30% of people who are waitlisted get officially accepted & i know i’m one of hundreds but im like DJGJGFDG i just emailed admissions and i’ll be calling them later this afternoon to see where i rank on the list and see if its even worth waiting on. if so i don’t know where i’ll go otherwise, i’ve been accepted to scad too but the reviews on their school and animation program vary greatly. i have also considered mica but heard their animation program isn’t the strongest. if any sva students or scad students have any advice or anything, plz don’t hesitate to hmu, im pretty lost here haha thank you in advance. i know im yelling out into the void but i don’t really know where to go from here
on another note, i’m beginning to doubt my major choices entirely?? my dream job would be a storyboard artist, but i’m unsure whether it would be best to pursue a sequential arts major or animation for that. which would be more tailored to storyboarding? i’m doing research but the internet isn’t being much help, if anyone has any input please please PLEASE talk to me
