Summary:

They say that Sozin's line are inhuman monsters. That's not what Chief Hakoda sees when he fishes a sickly thirteen-year-old Fire Prince out of the ocean. Then the boy knocks out his guard and forces Hakoda to chase him up the main mast to stop him from setting the ship on fire, and Prince Zuko proves exactly how much of a monster he is. Which isn't actually that much. Volume-wise.

@muffinlance’s Salvage is one of the best fanfics of all time, but it’s also really long, so I won’t be rewriting the whole thing with a bb!dragon Zuko. However, if you had questions or snippet requests, you can always try your luck in the comments. 😉

Dragon Zuko sketches

This is my sketch of dragon Zuko. His scales are supposed to be black but I don’t have the skills to draw a full black drawing with details being clearly seen.

A sketch of Zuko’s face. I’m bad at drawing full humans but this one turned out really well. 

I’m planning a dragon Zuko fic and have a lot of bullet point plotting done and am planning to have a prologue of sorts of Zuko’s dragon instincts from his childhood. In my dragon AU, Zuko is the only dragon and he doesn’t learn this till the Agni Kai. He is still banished and Uncle Iroh comes with but Zuko leaves Uncle behind at an earth kingdom port right away. Zuko’s dragon instincts have made him aware that the war is wrong and that Ozai has no love for him. But Zuko doesn’t know that Iroh didn’t kill the last dragons. So Zuko is scared of Iroh finding out that he is a dragon. There’s a lot of stuff I have planned but 2-3k words of a prologue fic of Zuko fighting with his hidden dragon instincts as a child should appear sometime within a week.

@muffinlance​ you are too blame for everything with your dragon AU that is spreading and taking over. Hope you guys liked the drawings, please don’t reuse them without asking but please feel free to reblog and I love comments! Send me asks about the fic if you’re curious.
