A lovely person decided to give me a chance to try out an idea for a semi-poseable, gravity defying tail for their OC. To pull this off I need the tail to be super solid and stable, but also light and plush. To achieve this without a foam insert I’m patterning from a miniature form & will scale up the pattern to fit the commissioners measurements. The model tail tip is also straightened to pattern as this is the section that will have internal rigging to allow movement.
