Baked Vegan Chinese Scallion Bread

Chinese Sesame Bread with Scallions 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon plus more vegetable oil 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup lukewarm water 1 teaspoon instant yeast 1 cup chopped scallions 4 tablespoons white sesame seeds In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, oil, salt, water and yeast until dough forms; knead until dough become quite sticky Gather dough; place into a lightly greased bowl; cover with plastic wrap; let rest in a warm place to double in size, about 1 hour In a lightly flour surface, roll out dough; spread scallions across surface; roll up dough, with scallions folded inside; form roll into a spiral; with a rolling pin, roll and flatten spiral; sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides; let rest for 20 min. Heat oil in a pan; cook dough over medium high heat 7 min. per side until outside is brown and crusty, and inside is fully cooked
