The easiest & Delicious Apple Cake -Äppelkaka ( Fresh Apples & Very Tasty)
A deliciously easy & so satisfying Apple Cake made from scratch with brown sugar & Cinnamon. This soft and tender Apple Cake is packed with fresh apples in every bite you will not regret this cake :)
It’s soft, it’s sweet and it’s jam-packed with fresh, juicy apples. I decided to sprinkle some powdered sugar to just make this cake a little sweeter on the top with each bite :) I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did .

Apple Cake -Äppelkaka : Serving 8-10
420 gm plain flour (3 3/8 cups)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon vanilla sugar/extract
360gm sugar ( 1 3/4 cups)
4 large eggs
250gm plain yogurt ( 1 cup)
Filling:
2 red apple, peeled and roughly chopped
2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
2 tablespoon brown sugar
Method: -
Preheat oven to 170 C (350 F) . Grease round cake tin. -In a bowl with apples, add in the cinnamon and sugar. Mix well, set it aside.
- In a medium sized bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt & vanilla sugar combine well & set aside.
-In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and beat them for 1 min. Add in the flour in 3 parts (gradually adding flour).
-Lastly, add in the yogurt and beat for 30 seconds or well combined.
- Add half of the batter into the mould . Add in all the apples and cover with the rest for the batter.
-Bake cake for approximately 40-5o minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean. Transfer cake to a wire rack to cool completely. -Sprinkle with some powdered sugar & serve immediately.
