If one of the wizards got scared would their magic activate without them thinking about it. Like a really cool defence mechanism like how Mumbo would teleport.
> I’ve said, Hypno is definitely known to attack on reflex when surprised. Stress has been known to, once or twice, chuck the potion she was carrying in her offhand out of shock. Joe’s magic requires quite a few words to be spoken for any spell to work, so you’re probably okay sneaking up on him. Tbh I feel like Scar gets surprised so often that he’s had to put effort into making sure he doesn’t accidentally grow a cactus wall around him or smthn when it happens. TFC is too chill, and also I feel like he’s pretty damn in control of his magic at this point.
How exactly does ender magic work? Is it teleportation stuff or something more? (On a side note: imagine - Stress:* somehow with a lot of focus grows a teeny meeny flower.* Scar: *is very proud*)
> Ooh okay, so teleportation is probably the most basic Ender magic, and it comes with the ability to teleport other people/objects. Other powers include healing and levitation. Levitation isn’t proper flight, but a witch who’s able to levitate could probably use an elytra without rockets. Due to their connection with the End, witches with Ender magic can always sense the closest portal to the End, and some who are especially powerful can even create one themselves.
> Honestly Scar would be proud of Stress if she grew a blade of grass,, but he really believes in her. She’ll get it soon!
How Scar's magic and natural magic overall work?? Like for example Scar just holds some fresh dirt in hands and he blows on it and *badabeem-badaboom* flower grows up?? Also what about his magical crystals?? Like it's legit crystals or Scar loose it and it's just painted glass shards that with the power of Magic and Believe happen to work?? And was Scar kind of a teacher for Stress when she wanted to learn natural magic??
> Essentially, yeah! When it comes to growing things, his magic is essentially like bonemeal, but faster and obviously without the bonemeal. As seems to happen every time I make an AU, I have created somewhat of a magic system where previously there was none. This is all extra unnecessary stuff, but if you wanna hear me ramble then you can click the keep reading at the end ^w^
> I think whether Scar’s crystals actually work is up to you. Theoretically, they could be magic. It’s definitely possible to infuse rocks and crystals with magic. You’d just have to learn a little earth magic first. Whether or not he had though, who knows. He’s a little loopy, after all.
> Stress decided she wanted to learn some natural magic after moving into the jungle. Coincidentally, Scar also lives there. He offered to teach her the basics of natural magic, but she hasn’t really picked much up yet.
> Okay, so. With the exception of potion making, witches’ magic is based on what sort of latent magic they have. In Stress’ case, her latent potential was actually ice magic, however she obviously also took up potion making, which is just based on the skill of a witch. It’s not something just anyone can do, because it still requires an infusion of magic, but it’s also not made easier or harder just by the sort of latent potential one has.
> Without the latent potential for that sort of magic (i.e. Stress trying to learn natural magic), picking up a new form of magic becomes a lot harder.
> In conclusion, I have thought waaaaay too much about this stuff, and AU witches are only only similar to Minecraft witches in name and design inspiration. Nothing else. But if you read all this and are not bored out of your mind then I appreciate you ^w^ I definitely wrote too much.
