When your favourite fanfiction authors abandon your ship.
List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox of people who mean something special to you! Share some happiness
Awww, thank you!!!
Damn, this was hard! I'm so bad at these but hmmm:
1. Sunflowers
2. Checking tasks off my To Do lists
3. Sunny winter days and rainy summer days
4. When grumpy cats let me pet them
5. When friends message me things like: "this reminded me of you" or "I was just thinking about you"
It’s fanfic author appreciation day!!! I wish I could make this post super long and complete, but I wanted to give at least these two shout outs. If you wanted to know every fic author who has made my day or made me smile, you should check out my fanfic page, read some of those, comment, and kudo.
The fanfic that I am currently reading that you should all be reading too:
The Aurors by @floreatcastellumposts
This fic consumed me. I lost impulse control and didn’t go to bed until my eyes started to close on their own a couple of nights, and one of those nights I think I only got 4 hours of sleep. I can’t wait to read more of your work!
My favorite fanfic of all time:
Too Close by @scared-of-clouds
There are a lot of fics that should make this decision difficult, but it’s just not because this fic felt like the way Harry describes flying. I’m also not a strong fiction writer, but I even scribbled down a drabble in my journal once after being inspired by the atmosphere of what you wrote. It’s also the fic I’ve reread the most that’s for sure. It’s a lovely story to come back to and your characterization of Hinny are great! I feel like I don’t know how to say thank you enough for writing this. <3
*hugs you real tight* would you please send this to the first ten people on your dash? Make sure someone gets a hug today, and stay safe <3
Thank you, Nikki!!!!!! <33333
Hi first thanks for all you do! Second I wondered if you could recommend some AUs where harry is ginny's bodyguard other than ginny duty and against the odds, thanks:)
I think those two might be it. I came across one other that’s incomplete and so badly written it’s not even worth talking about… but….Anybody know of more like this?
On the other hand, Too Close by scared of clouds has Ginny as Harry’s bodyguard…
I've also turned into Scorose trash

I always buy a garden's worth of fake flowers and lots of jars and stuff about fifty pencils in my pockets ... It's a dangerous place
My friend is a Maths teacher and she actually went to IKEA for the sole purpose of getting twelve zillion pencils for her classroom which is genius in itself but she also managed to walk out without buying anything. I feel like she should be feared and awed in equal measure...

NO-ONE comes out of IKEA without at least 7 packs of candles, 2 new saucepans, 4 plants they can’t even identify, a picture frame and a cushion. It’s not possible.
The markethall is a dangerous place. You go in with a steely resolve to pick up ONLY the one thing you need, then you come home loaded down and put all your new tealight holders/cushions/colourful spatulas next to all the ones you bought last time and never used. It’s great!
