Oof. Ive been avoiding sharing this lol. I’ve been slowly trying to understand a project I set for myself for 2020 that is very different than my previous wearable projects and is not just wearable. (Not sure how I will quantify it) I am not sure what forms this project will take and/or how long I will do it. This train of thought is so raw that I barley have it sorted/figured out and or found language for it yet. I have a different Instagram account I set up for sketching what I am calling a more extreme version of myself @sparklezillaextreme . I plan to hold a funeral/goodbye performance soon for my neoprene project. Probably in Feb - TBD lol Anyways follow the other account if you want to - I feel a lot of vulnerability about it. But I always tell my students if your work scares you a little bit you are onto something. I also feel like this project could benefit from a lot of community input. So it’s out there. I’m terrified
My brain keeps trying to skip forward to all of the what if’s
But i just want to enjoy the good moments I have.
I don’t want to think about what will happen when you get over this “experimental” phase
