Maybe Lance should have stepped in when he realized Bolest was struggling. First, she was trying to fix her scarf. Then it got caught on her necklace. Then it got caught in her hair. The more the watched, the more he got a kick out of it. At first, he tried to hide his laughter.
When he found he couldn’t keep it contained anymore, he decided to finally help her instead of being that asshole who didn’t help his significant other when she struggled. After all, they were walking the streets of London. Better help he before she started screaming expletives.
“Stop, stop,” he chuckled, grabbing her wrists. “At the very least, you must not be cold anymore since you’re so pissed.” He located the main source of the problem– her scarf caught on the zipper of her jacket– and carefully pulled it free.
