Scarlett has been ignoring Bucky ever since he got home from work. She was currently on the couch, reading a book.

He’d noticed her absence almost as soon as he stepped inside, the quick kiss and minimal touches… something wasn’t right.

What’d he do wrong? Had he been too rough at night? Was he saying something bad..?

Nearly worried to a fit, he was currently hiding in the bedroom, trying to work out what had he done to deserve punishment…

Scarlet would usually love having two people fighting over her, but this isn't how it's supposed to go. There isn't really any fighting, her boyfriend breaking up with her at the first sign of something gone wrong, as if just looking for an out. Maybe he was. She sighs, rubbing a hand up and down her face, forgetting that she's wearing eye makeup. "I actually do have a twin, but no one ever confuses us." Maybe it would have worked, if she had thought of it sooner, but it's doubtful. "Do you do this often?" she asks Gus, harsh and accusatory. "Is this a kink? You think you're a knight in shining armor or something? You get off on this?"

"yeah, sure! i'm sure he wants to talk to you." under other circumstances scarlet might even be happy for the assistance, but she and her boyfriend (ex?) have already been on the rocks. they're always on the rocks, actually, it's their third break up this month. she reaches out and grabs his arm when he starts to turn, trying to keep the gangly man in place. scarlet has no faith in the stranger, thinking he'll likely do more harm than has already been done. his comment quickly has her letting go, eyes narrowing. "you don't know anything about our chemistry." it hurts because it's true, because everyone can tell that her own boyfriend doesn't like her or care about her. "i wasn't uncomfortable. you're very bad at reading body language. i hope this taught you a lesson."
