Oh gosh I'm sorry for being so oddly specific (and also will probably spoil a bit for you if you were interested in reading the comic ) but can I get some graphics for Scarlet from the Webtoon I'M THE GRIM REAPER, using shots of her from episodes 162 and 183 specifically (she has some nice frames in those and I figured it'd be easier to request if I gave you specifics). Ngl I love chase but I have never felt more angry at a fictional character then when after brook got back from literal torture after going missing (which took them way too long to realize???) chase was drunk as hell and only worried about scarlet the scene where brook is standing off to the side while chase frets over her was actually so upsetting especially right after we see brook actually vulnerable for once its just ugh amazing chase never cared for brook as much as I think brook cared for both him and scarlet even if brook didn’t show it as obviously

Brook honestly wasn't sure what to make of you. Sure, he had friends now, it wasn't the weird fuzzy feeling he got around you guys that made him feel strange. It was the way you looked at him, the way you stared in his eyes and really saw him. He had lived a long time and had never seen that.

You were an enigma.

He was dead-set on staying an arms length from you. He knew what this feeling had done to Scarlet and he wasn't about to let the same happen to him. He wasn't about to risk you and let Satan know how much he cared. His apathy kept you safe.

At least that's what he told himself every time you smiled at him, clinging onto his arms and giggling when he blushed. You knew how he felt. You knew everything about him. The teasing made it even harder to deny, how you always seemed to know exactly what was going through his mind and calling him out on it. He was scared that it would be revealed and he would lose everything.

And yet Satan never said a word. Either he didn't know or didn't care. Every time he did a reaping and came back with another soul it was just the same mocking, nothing that involved you. His heart was beating out of its cage, and yet he kept that same blank expression on his face. He would protect you.

Satan would never hurt what was precious to him.
