One piece: accidentally hitting them

I wrote this because I have seen a few fanfics about them accidentally hitting you and I was just like what if you accidentally punched them in the face, also when I had thought I was done with this my sibling got me to add Buggy and Brook so it took longer to write then I thought it would

Luffy

The sun was shining down on the deck of the sunny, the wind was blowing gently and the sky was as blue as it could be all together it was a perfect day to have lunch out side and that was exactly what the crew was doing, I was enjoying the chatter of my crew mates as they ate, I could hear Nami and Robin talking about what they bought on the last island Nami all her clothes and Robin with her books, I could hear Zoro and Sanji bickering like usual, Usopp and Chopper were asking Franky about his newest creation, and Jinbe and Brook were talking like two old men, and then last but not least the only one not talking, our captain Monkey D Luffy now the reasoning for our usual chatty captain not talking was because he was shoving his face full of food, it really lift me wondering a lot of the time where all that food went, I took a bit admiring Luffy he looked beautiful in this light, I smiled softly before going to eat my own food I lifted up the piece of meat going to take a bite, I closed my eyes for a second before biting down and instead of being greeted by the perfectly prepared piece of meat Sanji cooked I was greeted by something that felt suspiciously like rubber

I opened my eyes quickly only to be meet by my boyfriend's face I realized the thing I'm certainly biting into is Luffys cheek and Luffy was biting into my steak, I pulled back from him and as soon as my teeth left his cheek he gulped down the rest of my steak, I put my fork down crossing my arms as I said "Luffy that was my food!" I could already hear Sanji berating him as I sighed, Luffy looked at me pouting as he wrapped his arms around me and laid his head on my shoulder saying "but I thought you liked sharing your food with me?" I scoffed "you know that doesn't mean steal it of my fork, I would have shared if you asked" He smiled at me giggling happily as he said "but you make such a cute face when I don't" I felt my face heat up at that I wasn't sure how Luffy could so easily fluster me with out even trying, I muttered annoyed "what ever" He giggled kissing my cheek and Luffy didn't do tiny cheek kisses no he acted like he was going off to war and this was the last time he'd kiss you one of those dramatic long ones that I couldn't help but giggle at, when he finally pulled back he made a loud 'muah!' before going back to shoving food in his gullet, I just huffed before going back to my food but as I stole glances over at the man that was sunshine in human form and noticed the teeth marks on his cheek I couldn't help but think 'I should have bite him harder for stealing my food'

Zoro

Zoro was training like always, I was laying on the deck bored out of my mind as my boyfriend worked out for what was probably the 5th hour to day, I whined loudly "you done yet Zoro!" He responded back quickly saying "No and I already told you you don't have to hangout with me while I work out" I sighed loudly rolling over as the sun went behind a cloud giving the deck of the thousand sunny some temporary shade, I looked at Zoro for a bit before getting an idea, I sat up quickly practically jumping up before making my way over to the man with moss colored hair, Zoro looked at me raising an eyebrow but not saying anything, I brought my hands into fists before holding them up in a position like I was getting ready to fight, Zoro looked like he already knew where this was going before I even throw the first playful punch, I punched the air around Zoro dramatically as I made sounds like I was in the most intense battle of my life, Zoro just said "Do you have to do this every time I train?" I scoffed before saying jokingly "we're training Zoro not just you, don't you know how much effort it takes to punch you this many times" He just chuckled slightly saying "whatever you say I guess" I continued playfully punching at him making sure to never actually make contact with him, Luffy walked by saying loudly "Hey Zoro!" Zoro turned to look at our captain just as I throw a punch I planned to stop before it hit his face except I wasn't expecting him to move it and before I knew it my fist made full contact with Zoros face

I immediately pulled my hand back saying "oh my gosh Zoro are you okay I'm so so sorry" I heard Luffy giggle in the background before walking off probably to find something to eat, Zoro said "Im fine" as he put down the weight he was holding, I grabbed his face after he stood back up from putting the weight down, I said softly "are you sure that sounded like it hurt" He said calmly as he put a hand on my waist "Yeah I'm sure, you are getting way better at those punches though" I huffed saying "I punch you in the face and you compliment me?" He scoffed saying with a jokingly annoyed undertone "am I not supposed to compliment my partner?" I sighed I was glad he wasn't hurt but he was ridiculous and I was fine making sure he knew that I said rubbing his cheek I didn't punch "You're ridiculous" I leaned in kissing his cheek that I hit thinking to myself 'even if he's ridiculous I love my stupid moss head'

Sanji

I was sitting in the kitchen as Sanji tried out a new recipe, the kitchen smelt delicious and just like everything Sanji cooks I'm sure it's going to taste just as if not better then what it smells like which meant I was more then happy to be my boyfriend's taste tester, now of course I take my job as Sanji favorite taste tester very very seriously but not seriously enough to stop me from resting my head on my hand and admire the beautiful blonde man in front of me as he cooked, Sanji some how made it look so effortless like cooking was second nature to him, I watched as he practically danced around the kitchen he really did make cooking look like a art one that he had mastered to perfection, it also definitely didn't hurt that he looked like wife material in that apron, just as that thought entered my mind Sanji called out as he started plating the food "it'll be done in just a minute beautiful, you know I'd hate to leave someone as pretty as you hungry for any longer then I have to" I chuckled at Sanji classic lover boy talk, I responded "take all the time you need to I'm in no rush, besides I like watching you cook" Sanji brought the plate over to me as he said in he's head over heels voice "well if that's the case you can watch me cook anytime" He placed the plate in front of me gently before laying the silverware out for me say gently "tell me what you think beautiful" I picked up the fork taking a bite of the perfectly made food in front of me as Sanji pulled out a cigarette slotting it in his mouth, the food was delicious so delicious in fact that I put my hand up turning to hit Sanji chest lightly and tell him how great it is but unknown to me Sanji leaned down to be on my level so instead of softly meeting his chest the back of my hand smacked right into his face hard

I looked over at Sanji shocked quickly saying "I'm so sorry sweetie I didn't mean to hit you, I thought you were still standing" Sanji put a hand on his face groaning as he said "It's okay beautiful" he kneeled down dramatically like he was actually hurt as he said "if it's my destiny to die at the hands of one as beautiful as you then I shall die a happy man" I scoffed at he's antics saying "your not dying Sanji get up" He shook his head lowering his hand to look me in the eyes as he said "no I'm dying I see an angel right now" I huffed feeling my face flush as I said "Sanji you're looking right at me" He grabbed my hand in his and put his other hand to his chest as he leaned down gently put his lips against my hand before saying "and you are an angel beautiful and I will gladly take any beating these angelic hands grace me with" I yelled at him as he kissed my hand "I did not beat you!" even if he was being an absolutely idiot I couldn't help but smile at Sanji words it was sweet how much he cared about me and I couldn't help but find his chivalry endearing, I couldn't help but think to myself 'he's such a sweet blonde even if he does have stupid eyebrows'

Brook

It was late at night on the sunny and I had woken up to an especially dry throat which is why I was currently wandering around the halls of the ship so long after the sun set, I was hoping to get something to drink in the kitchen but it still felt so far away, I rubbed my eyes gently as I yawned and kept walking, I was still very tired from having woken up not to long ago but I kept moving forward I sighed going to turn the corner towards the kitchen when I did that I was greeted by the sight of a very large skeleton just standing there, now despite the fact seeing a skeleton is actually a very common occurrence on the sunny my tired brain didn't even consider the fact we had a skeleton crew mate which was a especially embarrassing thing to forget when I was dating said skeleton but here we were and before my brain could even think of anything else or any reason for the undead in front of me I punched the very tall man in front of me where his stomach would be I ended up slightly hitting his spine

I heard a very familiar laugh from above me I looked up, waking up a bit more from the scare of walking around a corner in the middle of the night to see a skeleton, the skeleton spoke up saying "I didn't expect you to punch me in the gut dear, that is if I had one" He laughed at his own joke like always, I asked after a yawn "Brook?" He leaned down to be on my level as he said "yes that's me darling" I blinked for a second before all my tiredness seemed to disappear because I just realized I punched at my boyfriend for no reason, I immediately said "Brook I'm so sorry for hitting you" He smiled at me saying "it's fine dear, although I wouldn't be opposed to you showing me your panties as an apology" I crossed my arms saying "don't make me hit you again" He just chuckled before asking "why are you up so late?" I responded "I was going to get something to drink from the kitchen" He smiled saying "well allow me to walk you there then my love" He held his arm out for me to take and I did letting him lead the way to the kitchen as we walked I thought 'I love this silly skeleton even if he is a perv'

Ace

I was sitting at a bar a very very loud bar there were a bunch of people there I'm sure at least haft of them were pirates not that I could judge I was waiting for a pirate Mr 2nd division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, fire fist Ace, aka my boyfriend, I was picking at my fries bored out of my mind as I waited for Ace to show up he had said when he called earlier that he'd be here soon he literally said 'I'll be there before you know it baby' but it looked like before you know it wasn't actually going to be before you know it, I sighed sipping on my drink I didn't like being in bars with out my human equivalent of a guard dog still here I sat waiting for him, I really hope he didn't make me wait to much longer because even if I was fine with pirates I could tell this lot was not that type I'd like to hang around and frankly being in this bar with them with out Ace was making me keep my guard very high, I scoffed into my drink thinking to myself 'I never have to feel paranoid when Ace is around' I sipped my drink a bit more as I heard foot steps come up behind me some of my light was blocked out by the shadow of a man and before I realized it a strangely warm hand slipped on to my waist as someone with a strangely familiar voice said "hey beautiful what you doing in a place like this alone you-" before I could even register why his voice sounded like one I've heard before or the man could even finish what he was saying I turned around in my chair swinging as hard as I could at the man's face, I felt my hand make full contact with him just the way Ace told me to deal with creeps

I was about to give this creep a piece of my mind when I quickly recognized his adorably freckled face even with the hand that was once holding my waist now holding his cheek, I was to shocked to say anything but Ace quickly broke the silence saying "I know I'm late baby but I didn't think you'd be this mad" I said absolutely flabbergasted "Ace no sweetie I'm not mad I didn't realize it was you I'm so sorry I punched you" He smiled at me saying "No you did good I'd want you to punch some creep touching you" I couldn't help but smile at my absolute cute pie it's like he's smile was contagious, I reached a hand out moving his from his cheek and replacing it with my own, he placed his hand on top of mine saying playfully "you've got one hell of a punch baby, maybe you should be the one protecting me not the other way around" I chuckled he was such a goof ball and some how even when I was the one who punched him he was making me feel better about it, this man really was just a warm bright campfire on a cold night he some how just melted all my worries away, I felt my smile widened as I thought to myself 'what did I do to deserve this sweetie pie'

Sabo

The halls of the revolutionary army's base was quite it wasn't surprising everyone was either asleep, shoved to far into paperwork to make noise or off on a mission, not me though I was going to sleep but couldn't the problem being Sabo has been gone for well over a month and I just couldn't sleep as well with out Sabo something about him just made me sleep better which is how I found myself here wandered the halls of the base all by myself worrying about my boyfriend's safety, I knew he was probably fine Sabo was strong and smart but I still worried being a revolutionary was dangerous and for all I know he could be in danger right now, I sighed as I kept walking I hated know Sabo's mission would probably take a few more weeks, I was so distracted in my thoughts about Sabo I didn't even hear any foot steps come up behind me I didn't even know anyone was there till one hand landed gently on my shoulder and the other gloved hand landed over my eyes, before this person even had a chance to say something all my training with Sabo came flooding back to me, now I might not be a revaluation that went to battle a lot but Sabo had made sure I could hold my own against someone, he always said 'as much as it pains me I can't always be there to protect so you have to be able to protect yourself even if it's just a little' I quickly stomped on the person's foot before jabbing my elbow into their side as hard as I could

I heard the person grunt as their hand fell from my eyes they leaned more into my back before a very familiar smooth voice said "are you trying to break my ribs the moment I get back darling" He chuckled slightly before adding "I didn't know you wanted to keep me from the field that bad" I gasped quickly stepping off of his foot trying to turn around to face him but I was unable to when Sabo wrapped his arms around my waist resting his head on my shoulder, I said still shocked that he was here "I thought your mission would take at least two more weeks" He hummed shoving his face in my neck his breath tickling me as he said "I made sure to finish it as fast as possible to get back to you, although it seems you weren't as excited to see me" I said quickly not wanting him to get the wrong idea "no no I'm so happy you're back I just wasn't expecting you I'm so sorry I elbowed you" He chuckled lightly "its fine dear you know I'm just playing" I yelped as he quickly before I could even register it swept me off my feet holding me like a groom would a bride, he smiled at my shock before saying gently "now how about we head to bed darling?" I just nodded as I leaned into his chest as I thought 'I'm so happy Sabos home'

Law

The time for checkups has rolled around on the Polar Tang which is way I'm here sitting in front of Law on an exam table, I kicked my feet back and forth softly as he explained a bunch of medical mumbo jumbo, Law seemed to realize I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying at all, he said slightly annoyed but not surprised at all "You're not listening to me at all are you?" I looked at him surprised saying in a why no one would believe I was telling the truth "what no I was listening" he sighed not even bothering to respond to me before saying " I guess we'll just start the checkup since you don't want to listen to me" I huffed as Law grabbed gloves he slipped them on each hand before saying "I'm going to test your reflexes" I nodded as I stopped kicking my feet Law grabbed a tiny rubber hammer saying calmly "I'm going to lightly tap your tendon" I hummed as he walked over to me saying "Yeah I know" Law gently tapped my tendon and my leg shot out he hummed before tapping the hammer against my other leg, my leg went out and kicked Law right in the leg

Law groaned when my foot hit he's leg I took a second before I started laughing at him Law looked at me annoyed I said between giggles "you got yourself kicked" Law crossed his arms saying "Yeah yeah real funny" I continued to laugh "it is, it is funny" Law scoffed as he uncrosssd his arms to start tapping my elbows he said as he did that "shouldn't you feel some remorse for hitting me" I shook my head as my giggling slowly stopped, I said a the very tail end of the giggling "no because you're the reason my leg kicked out so you basically hit yourself" He just rolled his eyes before he continued the exam muttering under his breath that I was immature, I said playfully poking him "you know you love me" Law didn't respond but we both knew it was true I thought to myself 'I like getting chances to laugh at Law'

Doflamingo

I was getting ready for a night out with Doflamingo, I was making sure everything was in order I knew how Doffy was he wanted me looking my best when we went out and he wouldn't expect anything else, Doffy hated when things didn't meet his standards which is way the clothes clinging to my skin were hand picked by Doflamingo with this date in mind, not that I mind him picking my clothes if Doflamingo had one thing going for him it would be his since of style, I smiled at myself in the mirror smoothing down the clothes a bit more, they really where flattering but even with that I felt like something was missing from the look, I looked around me and Doffys shared room trying to think about what it was, I noticed Doflamingo on the other side of the room he was in a crisp suit, the suit really did help his tall frame look more intimidating then it did in he's usual more laid back clothes but that's not what my eyes drawled to instead it was the cologne he was spraying on, it clicked in my head that's what's missing perfume, I quickly went looking for my favorite perfume one that Doffy got me for my birthday last year that quickly became my favorite, I noticed it on a shelf much to high for me to reach myself, I sighed because I had a feeling I knew how it got up there, Doffy loved putting things to high for me to reach so I had to ask him for help, I spoke up as I pointed up at my perfume saying "hey Doffy can you grab that for me?" I turned with my hand still up to check where he was at but instead of being still across the room like I expected my hand hit him in the crotch

I immediately pulled away after I actually hit him, Doffy put a hand on my head I looked up at the tall man saying apologetically "I'm so sorry Doffy I didn't even notice you" I felt his hand tighten a bit before he said through gritted teeth "it's fine sweetheart" I looked away from him nervously as I muttered "are you sure? I'm really sorry if I hurt you" even if I was dating Doffy I was well aware of how easily he could crush my skull in his hand, Doffy chuckled even if it wasn't a very amused one, he said "I'm insulted that you think you could hurt me" I said nervously as he reached above me to grabbed my perfume "I didn't mean it like that" He laughed spraying my perfume on me as he said "I know sweetheart" after he finished spring it he made sure to put it back somewhere to high for me to reach, after he patted my head saying "let's go sweetheart" I let out a sigh of relief that Doffy wasn't mad at me, I thought to myself letting out an internal sigh 'think God he's not mad'

Corazon/Rosinante

I was walking around the Donquixote pirates ship after a long day of work now working for the Donquixote pirates was a pain a really really big pain but it paid so it's just how things had to go, I strolled through the ship, I had heard Corazon had gotten back last night I was hoping to see him today but I had been so busy I haven't been able to find him, Corazon was by far my favorite person here and not just because he was my boyfriend, but because he was by far the only mentally stable one here, he is kind and caring and didn't see people like tools, I sighed I decided I was going to look for Corazon tomorrow I was tired and going to head to my room I stretched my arms out yawning just as I did that I heard someone I didn't know was there trip and fall smaking into my arm on the way down

I quickly pulled my arms back in and looked down at the bundle of feathers laying on the ground, I gasped in shocked quick crouching down next to Corazon saying "Cora are you okay? That looked like it really really hurt" He lifted his head up smiling slightly as he gave me a thumbs up but despite that I could see the scratch on his for head and the nose bleed he got from hitting the ground, I quickly used my sleeve to wipe the blood saying worried "You're bleeding" Corazon grabbed the notepad out of his coat writing on it quickly 'its okay sweetheart I'm okay' I sighed loudly saying "You're not okay you're bleeding!" He just gave me a bigger smile like that was supposed to comfort me even though I was dating a man who was so clumsy that you'd think he had the worst luck in the world, I finished wiping the blood as he wrote down something on the notepad after he showed me a paper that said 'see its just a nose bleed' I scoffed "yeah from face plating into my arm and the ground" He pouted before quickly writing 'is you're arm okay?' I wanted to sigh again at how he acted like this didn't matter but instead I found myself smiling at the fact he was worried for me, I said softly "yes I'm fine" after saying that I leaned up kissing his forehead gently thinking to myself 'this man's clumsiness is going to give me a heart attack one day'

Katakuri

Me and Katakuri were laying in bed it had been a long long day of running around and I was happy to get to unwind after it with my sweet husband, he was laying next to me on our giant bed reading as he enjoyed some night time donuts, he was absolutely adorable as he munched away at the sweet treats, as I watched him my mind couldn't help but wander even with all my time married to the large sweet commander I still couldn't help but find myself wondering about him I found him so fascinating and I wasn't sure if thats because he's actually fascinating or just the want to know everything about the person you love, as I was laying there looking at him a sudden thought popped into my head 'what if I hit him?' because he will dodge I know that, everyone's heard about Katakuris crazy good observation haki and I don't get to see it that often so it made me interested I wanted to see him really coolly dodge stuff so I found myself letting my intrusive thoughts win, I sat up looking at Katakuri as he was still reading he looked so peaceful and pretty as he did it it was making me question if I should go through with this idea but instead of deciding it was a bad idea I thought to myself 'he's going to dodge so what's the harm' I waited for him to finish his donut and swallow it before going to smack him to my surprise and horror instead of him dodging it my hand made full contact with his face as the sound of the slap ringed through our room

I looked at Katakuri horrified saying quickly "oh I'm so sorry Katakuri are you okay?!" I felt so bad that I had just smacked my husband in the face I really thought he was going to dodge it, Katakuri instead of answering my question asked his own saying sweetly "sweetie have I done something to upset you?" I shook my head quickly saying "No no of course you haven't" I was panicking at the fact that I not only hit him but made him think I was upset at him, I placed a hand on his cheek softly as I said "I'm not upset with you I thought you'd dodge, you know like you do when you fight people I thought it'd be really cool to see but I guess you didn't see it coming, I'm sorry love" He leaned against my hand as he put his on top of mine saying gently "no I saw it coming" I looked at him for a while before saying flabbergasted "then why didn't you dodge?!" He looked at me with possibly the most love I've ever seen in a man's eyes and said "You're my spouse if you wanted to hit me I was sure there was a good reason for it" I looked at him asking "so you let me hit you because you thought I was mad and probably had a good reason for it?" He hummed kissing my wrist before saying "I knew you'd never hit me without a reason so why would I stop you" I just sighed at this absolute sweetheart before thinking to myself 'I can't believe Katakuri let me hit him because he thought I had a good reason'

Mihawk

Mihawk was currently not home which meant I was all alone on our gloomy little island, now as much as I knew I didn't need to worry about intruders or really anything scary here it was kinda hard not to get a little paranoid on an island as spooky as this one when you're all alone, but I decided to distracted myself by doing the chores around the house right now I was walking toward me and Mihawk's room with our freshly cleaned sheets, I found myself a lot more jumpy when Mihawk wasn't home so I tried to make it to the room as quick as possible, maybe it was really childish to think no monsters or threats would get me in my room but here I was, when I reached the door to the bedroom I quickly pushed it open heading inside, I made my way to the bed placing the sheets on it before starting to put them on it, I sighed wandering when Mihawk will get home I slipped the first sheet on, I watched as the red silk sheet covered the bed, I put the next sheet on before deciding to put the pillows in the pillowcases before putting the comforter on I grabbed the first pillow case it was black on the outside and red on the inside where pillow sleeps, I grabbed my pillow shimmying it into the pillowcase after that I grabbed Mihawks and put it in the other pillowcase just as I finished doing that I heard cracking from behind me I froze and before thinking I squeezed my eyes closed and swang the pillow hard at what ever was behind me saying loudly and scared "the only ghost allowed in my house is perona so get out of here!" Mihawks pillow made contact with something

I opened my eyes to find my husband standing there his hair a bit missed up from getting hit by a pillow, I looked a him for a second before giggling as I said "oh its you Mihawk" Mihawk sighed taking the pillow from me and started fixing up the bed "you seemed quite distracted my love I had a enough time to come in and place Yoru down before you noticed me" I finished giggling as I said "well it's not my fault your foot steps are so quite" He just smoothed out the bed sheets after he finished making the bed, he stood up turning around to look at me saying "and here I thought you'd be happy that I'm home instead I'm greeted by a pillow in my face" I smiled at him placing a hand on his cheek as I said "I'm sorry my love would you have preferred a kiss?" He smiled lightly as he said "yes I would have my love" I leaned in kissing him as I thought 'I love him even if he spooks me sometimes'

Buggy

I was sitting on me and Buggys bed as he gave me a dramatic showing of what he's going to say to his subordinates tomorrow really putting on the big show so I'd get the full picture, he wanted my opinion on if I thought it was perfect he really did take his performances seriously or as seriously as Buggy could be, I watched quietly as I chuckled occasionally at his antics, after he finished he looked at me saying "so what did you think?" I hummed deciding to leave him in suspense for a bit before saying "it was good sweetie" Buggy got up in my face saying "just good my jester? I was going for great! Perfect even" I chuckled at his silly pout reaching out to run my fingers through his hair I said softly "okay okay it was great" He smiled standing up tall saying "I know I'm great!" I smiled as he held his hand up I went to hi five his hand and completely missed his hand landing square on his face instead

I looked at Buggy for a second before bursting out in laughter it didn't take long for Buggys face to turn red as he shouted "ITS NOT FUNNY!" He’s not thinking about consequences or potential outcomes. When he basically is forced to realize he has feelings for you, he goes to a field of flowers, and he hand picks out ones that remind you of him. He will then hand you the flowers and tell you, “hey! And she’s not really that typical girl that dreamed of getting married and having kids one day. She never cared much for it. Given the childhood she has she never had the opportunity to either. Nami is far from a traditional woman.

- But time went on, and as you two become closer with one another Nami realizes her feelings as they develop. Nami starts getting a bit nervous around you as a result. Constantly finding excuses to leave the conversation. “Oh..! Hey! What’s that over there?!” before she dashes off the second you look away from her.

- Franky beats himself up for it for quite awhile because he is well aware he is far too old to be having absolutely no game. He’s not sure if it’s worse for you to notice or not to notice. But either way the topic comes up in conversation with Robin and Brook, “when will you confess? This is getting pretty sad Franky.” “I must agree, Yohoho.. this display is becoming embarrassing!”

- Confessing to you is kinda terrifying for him, but he doesn’t wanna be a coward so he goes for it. With his bigass hand he carry’s some flowers and hands them to you. “They reminded me of you! Hehe…”

- he’d be sweating a lot as he tries to ask you out shortly after that. But honestly he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’d talk to you in a mocking robotic voice to lighten the mood because he’s nervous, but you’re laughing so he hopes that’s a good sign.

Brook

- Brook is… well… not expecting much. Brook is more than aware his appearance is not.. well… conventionally attractive. That being said, Brook admires you from the moment you meet. And as you two become closer friends, his feelings for you strengthen with time.

- Brook tries to treat you like anyone else, because he honestly thinks it would just be awkward to face the inevitable rejection. So he cracks jokes with you and tries to treat you like how he’d treat Robin, Nami, franky.

- But alas, even if it he only bones, he supposes he can’t help but fall in love. Brook constantly seeks out your attention and constantly likes to spend his time with you. He cares for you deeply and it reflects in how he treats you.

- Brook seeks to protect you. While having faith in your abilities, there are times where he can’t help but whisk you away from a monster, carrying you away bridal style, and perhaps making a joke or two about it. Or perhaps singing you to sleep after a nightmare you’ve had. Brook loves to protect and care for you.

- At some point, Brook is forced to acknowledge his feelings for you are not going to go away, and something needs to be done about them. He doesn’t love the sound of it, doesn’t like the idea of making your friendship awkward. But he also knows this isn’t something he can hold in forever and continue to pretend like things are normal.

- Brook decides to keep things simple. This is mainly because he doesn’t think it really matters if he does something extravagant, you’ll say no regardless. He treats it more like a serious conversation. He takes you out on a walk, and tells you he has something “important” he needs to tell you.

- and then he confesses, whole heartedly, even if he doesn’t have a heart. He tells you everything he likes about you, when he started to like you, the guilt he feels for liking you, for even telling you, but knowing he needs it off of his chest. He pours his soul out, and tells you he understands you don’t like him back. Which is why, when you do return the feelings, he lets out a high pitched scream of surprise.

Jinbe

- Jinbe knows what he’s feeling pretty quickly, though they develop slowly as he gets to know you better. Jinbe chooses not to act upon them. He feels a particular sense of needing to prove himself as a newer strawhat, and acting upon such feelings doesn’t really put him in a good light.

- Perhaps a dumb way to think, but that’s just how he feels. So he remains a friend for awhile. Trying to act normally around you. For the most part it works, he has just about everyone fooled on the matter. But nobody can truly hide their feelings around Nico Robin, and she catches onto it eventually. And she does not hesitate to tease Jinbe a little.

- The fishman is rather embarrassed by it, and due to that newfound tension he starts to slip up more around you. A pink blush on his blue cheeks whenever he’s talking to you, gives him away.

- even he can’t help but notice how protective he’s gotten of you, even if he knows you can hold your own just fine. Or even the way he laughs rather loudly at one of your dumb jokes that aren’t even that funny. Jinbe clearly adores you, and the rest of the crew find it rather adorable.

- Jinbe would only ever plan this sort of confession once he got Luffys blessing, who of course supported it. So jinbe got to planning out a way to confess.

- While Jinbe racked his brain quite a bit, jinbe eventually decided he would just go for it. There’s no need to overthink it. Jinbe has never been in long lasting relationships, but he can figure this out just fine.

- when he confesses, his idea is being alone. The two of you swimming together at night. You trust jinbe to protect you if a sea monster or something is to come bother you two in the water. Jinbe makes a comment about the stars in the sky, before he would give you a confession and ask you out. It’s heartfelt with a smile. While he’s nervous about how you’ll react, he feels a weight lift off his shoulders after he’s finished.

Yamato

- Yamato has never liked anyone before. The closest to a crush was with Ace and he certainly wouldn’t consider that relationship love or anything. Just a friendship he was robbed of. That being said, Yamato won’t realize his feelings for you at first. Or even for awhile.

- In fact he’ll be friends with you for a long time before finally Hiyori and Kiku just break the news to him, since they fully know Yamato has no damn idea. And when that moment happens, where Yamato is forced to realize he likes you, he doesn’t even know what to do.

- After that, Yamato is suddenly blushing around you all the time, before running off and finding excuses to leave your conversations. The only time Yamato can talk to you without freaking out is if it’s a serious topic.

- Yamato ends up developing a nervous habit of twirling his hair. And Yamato kinda hates it to be honest. He’s acting like such a girl! He’s kinda getting dysphoria over it.

- He doesn’t even see confessing as an option. He’s gotta be like Oden, he doesn’t have time for love! That is until Momonosuke reminds Yamato that he was literally born because Oden fell in love.

- So Yamato decided, well… if he really is Oden, he should tell you how he feels with full confidence. No fear of his love for you at all! If only he truly felt that way.

- so after months of constantly acting weird around you, voice cracking and all, he calls you for an important “meeting”. As to which he basically tells you, “I know I’ve been acting weird” before he starts explaining himself, and confessing what he’s been feeling towards you. While he tries to convey confidence, fierceness even, he’s blushing quite a lot.

A/N: I SWEAR I DIDN’T ABANDON YALLL, I went through a really bad writers block, but I’m still in love with this story and I’m not giving up on it! I got past the hard part, and now all my ideas are flowing.

After treating the green one eyed cat, you had let the stiff creature roam free from the confines of your bathroom. He wasn’t a fan of your affection, as everytime you pet, or picked him up—a begrudging growl would rumble throughout his little chest. Regardless of the cat’s stubborn nature, it only made you grow fond of the poor thing.

Imagine having one eye… you can barely see with two, always losing your things left and right. Of course not everyone was like that, but still. It must suck.

Rubbing your eyes, you tiredly lock eyes with the worried pink cat, before stepping out from the bathroom. Luffy surges forward, tackling Zoro into another warm hug; resulting in a pained groan from the green cat.

“Shishi—took you long enough!” “Yeah..” Zoro wheezes, stiff as a board. “Missed you too.”

Chopper rushes forward, prying the idiot from his crewmate with an oddly strong grip. “Be careful, Luffy!” He says, eyes worried.

“She just took all that time wrapping him up, don’t undo everything…”

“Eh?! I’m not!”

“You kinda are.” Franky sighs, resting his forehead into his paw. Looking up, he watches you crouch with a curious expression.

“You guys sure are something else…” you mumble, resting your hands on your knees. Tilting your head to the side, you spot the orange cat approaching you. She locks eyes with you, as if communicating something.

Is she finally understanding?! Nami thinks, eyes shining with hope. A row of meows escape her, and the others follow—but it doesn’t make sense to you. They’re just cats, they had to be. There couldn’t be another explanation, could there? No. They’re cats, them being anything else would be crazy-talk.

Shrugging off the idea, you figured they were just… special. Lowering your head, you eventually let out a soft yawn. “I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to bed…”

“Ugh, not again!” Nami groans, “She’s clueless!” “No kidding…”

“Robin what do we do?!”

“Honestly? I’m not quite sure.” She admits, pondering on the thought. “This whole situation is quite absurd…”

“Not even the smartest person on the crew knows what to do…” Brook says slowly, looking to the side as Usopp melts dramatically into the floor. “We’re so cooked.” The sniper mumbles, letting out a long huff into his arms.

“God end me now…”

Pushing up from your spot, you yawn softly. “I have work after tomorrow too..” you say quietly, turning around. Nami meows after you in protest, but you’re already walking into your room, oblivious as ever.

“You’ve, GOT. To be kidding me.”

“How did you guys manage to get caught up with such an airhead?” Ussop mumbles into the floor, absolutely defeated.

“She is NOT an airhead!” Sanji suddenly snaps, aura leaking, and radiating from down the hall. “Don’t ever call a woman that!”

Usopp runs rigid, realizing what he said aloud. Quickly scrambling up, he hides behind Brook for protection… yet the skeleton seems rather rattled himself. “Hey! He’s not gonna save you, take it back and apologize to the lady!”

“Yohoho, I really won’t! Angry Sanji is not my cup of tea!”

“She can’t even understand me! And I was just joking—“ letting out a nervous laugh, Nami can only groan at their antics.

“What the hell are we going to do…” she whispers, looking at her paws in thought.

“Well, we could just get to know her.” Luffy suggests, “become friends, and she’ll eventually understand us!”

Oddly enough… Nami doesn’t immediately shut that down. “You aren’t that far off, perhaps we just act more… human-like, and find a way of contact?” Robin suggests.

“She seemed suspicious just now, did she not?” …

Silence echoes, and Nami painfully blinks. Had Luffy just… created another plan?

Humiliated—and dumbstruck, Nami sits rigid, head lowering yet again. “You know what, why do I even try?”

Zoro walks over to Nami, expression calm. “It’s alright, we can’t all be winners.”

“Says the cat who got babied…” The swordsman face run’s red, and he quickly turns the other way. “Shut up. I did not.”

“You so did, Zoro.” Naz scoffs at the thought, smirking. “And you loveddd it—“

“I DID NOT!”

“Shishi, that’s a good idea Robin! Let’s do it!” “Wait, what are we doing?” Chopper asks, looking up from Zoro’s bandaged arm. He’s must have been fixated on making sure Zoro’s been okay this entire time…

“We’ll just fill you in later, bud.” Franky sighs, laughing quietly under his breath.

The next morning…

Stirring from the gentle shine of the sun, Sanji’s eyes weakly unglue. He shifts on the couch, crushed by the light weight of Chopper… who’s accompanied by Luffy and Usopp.

Since when had that happened?

Crawling out from underneath the pile, he slips off the furniture shaking the sleep from his eyes. Running off the sleep the schedule from the Thousand Sunny, Sanji felt rather groggy.

“Ugh, what time is it,” he mutters, looking into the kitchen.

“Ugh, I can’t smoke and I can’t cook…” he walks painfully into the room, longingly gazing at the cupboards. “What kind of hell is this?”

Thrown out of his comfort zone, he slowly walks around the tiled island, almost stepping on a pile of shattered glass.

“What the…? When did this happen?” His brows furrow, as he tries to recall what happened last night. Huh, that must’ve been before him and Zoro had caught up with you.

“This world seems to be more stressful than others.” Robin suddenly comments, sitting up atop the counter. “She dropped a glass, and collapsed from exhaustion...”

Sanji’s eyes widen, and he tenses. God, he could really use a cigarette right now.

“So,” Sanji voice drawls, avoiding the mess of shards. “She’s got stuff going on?” He asks, walking around the other way. “An understatement, but yes.” Robin answers, rather bluntly.

“I was looking through her bag, and it turns out she moved here recently. Doesn’t have any sort family connections, either; from what I can tell…”

“And you figured that all out, from just looking through her bag?”

“Correct. It seems people in this world carry lots of information with them, she had an ID and all…”

Sanji perks up at that, eyes curious. “What’s her name? Age?” Personally, he thought you looked to young to be living alone. He atleast expected you to live with a roommate of the sorts… but that wasn’t the case, and you seemed rather lonely.

“Her name’s, ___. And she’s __, everything seems awfully new, so nothing out of the ordinary.” Robin says thoughtfully, looking out the kitchen window. It’s almost as if there was a reason you had everything with you, as if you were prepared for something...

“Hm,” Sanji hums, looking at the mess infront of him in thought. Pretty name… pretty face… nothing out of the ordinary, so you really were just unlucky enough to stumble across them?

Well, that crosses off any doubts he had about you, not that he had much to begin with. It’s just, for some reason, there was this radiating pull towards you.. It was rather strange.

“Luckily, ” Robin suddenly starts, “There isn’t a difference in language, other than us being cats, so if we can just figure out how to communicate with her another way, we should be alright.”

Sanji nods, pushing a few pieces of glass into a pile with the back of his paw. “Sound’s like a solid plan…”

“Not necessarily, but we’ll try,” Robin chuckles, “Nami mentioned trying to write, but she couldn’t because of her paws, yet I have a feeling there’s another way around that.”

“Do you remember that black box she always carries around?”

Sanji perks up at that, thinking back to last night. You’d been scrolling on it in bed for hours, showing endless amounts of videos and messages… (not that he’d been staring the entire time, you’d just been too pretty to ignore.)

“So, we’re gonna try and input stuff on it?” He asks, looking up.

“Precisely, it’s just a matter of being able to get ahold of it.”

Waking up to the obnoxious sound of your alarm, you groan turning your head further into your pillow. Was it really Sunday, already? What happened to your relaxing weekend… so much for rest.

Shifting your arm, you shut off the clock’s alarm and slowly rise from your bed, tired as ever. Weakly lifting your head, it tilts forward when a dizzying spell washes over you.

Ugh, you could just go back to bed for the rest of the day…

Pushing your frizzy hair back, a soft meow stirs you further awake. Looking down, the long-nosed cat stares timidly at you, nudging your knee with his forehead, then, he gleams at you with excited eyes. “Huh? What’re you trynna tell me, hm?”

Before you can pet him, he hops off your bed heading into the living room. Speaking of cat’s, where was everyone, now? You swore more went to bed with you—glancing back, your clock reads 11am. Wow, no wonder it’d been going off…

How many times had you deliriously hit ignore?

Rubbing your eyes, you decide to get up and feed the cats. Crawling out of bed, you slip on some comfortable socks and a warm sweatshirt; enjoying the dusk of your cozy afternoon.

Looking outside, it’s an on-set downpour. Rain clatters against your window, while a constant wind blows at the willow trees—leaving leaves, to flutter and fall past your home. Checking outside, piles of dark green and yellowish leaves continuously clutter in your backyard.

Truth be told, as exhausting as Sunday’s were, you didn’t mind them. They always felt gloomy one way or another, either because of the horrible weather, or upcoming dread of the week, but you loved them at times.

It may also be, because you felt no-one expected anything of you, as this was everyone’s rest day. No work, no cleaning, just pure good earned rest.

“Meoww!!” Flinching from surprise, you look back to find the calico and pink cat at your door. They looked excited, as if proud to show you something they’d done. Like toddlers showing their parents a newly done drawing.

“What’s gotten into you guys..?”

Following the two out, you half expect your living room to be an utter mess. Especially after last night; as you’d crashed into your table, sending books and cups flying, while glass had previously shattered in your kitchen. However, much to your surprise, there was nothing.

Everything was clean, and not even a single speck of dirt was noticed.

“How…”

Blinking, you shift and to rub your eyes, again. Had you cleaned everything before going to bed? You must have, but.. gosh, everything that happened last night was a blur.

“See, told you she’d love it.” Sanji says, sitting comfortable on the sofa’s ledge, “Women love a tidied house.” He adds pridefully, ego shining and smile lifting. Stars twinkle around him, like he’s some charming prince.

”Yeah! She looks super surprised!” Luffy laughs, jumping up on the counter beside you—along with Chopper, and Zoro who’s already resting at the dining table, situated on a pink fuzzy table cloth.

“Uhh… sure.” Nami mutters, watching you slowly lean against the counter with disbelief. “I think she’s currently rethinking her life choices, but whatever you guys think.”

“Perhaps, it was a bit too much to start with.” Robin says thoughtfully.

”You think?” Nami raises a brow.

”Well, it was a nice thing to do, no?” Brook interrupts, “I’m sure she’ll appreciate it when the time comes…”

Usopp sketchily nods, watching you rub your eyes again. “Uh-huh, sure.”

Despipte your denial, the Straw Hat’s had cleaned your house. The glass had been carefully swept up by Sanji and Franky, while the others tended to the living room. It hadn’t taken long with 9 people, especially since the crew worked well together, even if they were in the bodies of cats…

“I must’ve just cleaned it last night, right?” you mutter to yourself. Letting out a groan, you lean tiredly into your shiny counter-top.

“Ugh, I’m too tired to think.” Pushing up, you stretch your arms overhead. “I’m just gonna take a shower..”

Later that afternoon, you sit comfortably on your couch while scrolliing on your phone. Today, the cats had been much more chatty than normal, meowing at you as if they were trying to talk to you, attempting to get your attention, but… not like any other normal cat. No, these ones had a mind of their own.

And each of them had incredibly different personalities.

Like earlier, when you’d taken a shower and walked out of the bathroom, with only a sports bra and shorts.

The long nosed cat had screeched, covering his eyes with his paws… while the white colored cat, resembling a skeleton—went completely red… leaving the yellow cat, who’d just turned the corner, burst out in a cartoony nosebleed, collapsing back like some dead rodent. Twitching like one too.

Short to say, you were surprised, but not weirded out. Not yet, anyways. You’ve never had animals before, so you didn’t know what to expect. Perhaps this was just a norm you weren’t accustomed to, right?

Silence…. Right?

The next strange thing you witnessed, was the ‘friendship’ between the yellow and green cat, and the orange one who always beat them up. It’d happened a million times now, but the way she scolded them was something else, even making you drop a sweat, and shudder back. Thank god you weren’t them…

The long-nosed cat seemed to agree, always cowering behind you with the pink one—fearing for their life. Which, honestly, you couldn’t blame them. Every-time it happened, which was a lot, the two troubl makers would always come out with a scratch or two.

The third strange thing that had hit you, was literal. You’d been making lunch for yourself; a simple sandwich with chicken, mayonnaise, mustard and your favorite slice of cheese, when the calico had jumped onto your counter like some wild beast.

The yellow cat appeared out of nowhere, defending your food like he’d done it a hundred times before, pummeling the calico into the ground with an exasperated expression.

“Get out of her kitchen, you stupid rubber idiot!”

The experience left you clutching your pearls, or well, food in your case. However, when watching the cat sulk, and slowly leave, he watched you with pleading eyes across the living room; as if begging for your food… which you’d obviously given into, ripping off a small piece of your snack.

The bread and cheese had been swallowed whole in seconds, which left you questioning if he’d never eaten before, but the calico seemed content nonetheless.

Now, sitting exhausted in your seat, it’s only 3 o’clock. This had all happened in the span of a few hours, and as you read one of your book’s, expecting a small moment of peace and quiet… you feel eyes lingering behind you.

Turning to check, you spot the calm dark, purple colored cat, and she seems to be reading with you, as if understanding every word as her eyes trace the page in-front of you.

“A romantic story indeed…” Her expression narrows, as if focusing. (Meow..)

”Huh?” Blinking, you let out a soft sigh and set down your book with a clasp.

Leaning your head back, you close your eyes…

RING

Your phone buzzes, vibrating again and again until you pick it up. “Ugh, who’s blowing up my phone, now?”

It’s an unkown number, and they seem to be spamming you with messages.

”Hey hun, just wanted to let you know i’m back in town!”

“I’ll come stop by your work place and see how things are, I can’t wait to see you!”

Who…?

”And yes, I know you blocked me, but I got a new number! Aren’t you happy?!”

Going rigid, your eyes widen. When did she—a noise echoes from the kitchen making your phone jostle in your hands. You accidentally click on her pfp, and all the messages she had sent you, show read.

“No, dammit—!” letting out a curse, you toss your phone down and turn away from it.

”Shit, what do I do? She’s gonna know I..”

As if on cue, your phone continues to buzz, vibrating agaisnt the glass coffee table with a condescending urgency. Your eyes fill with tears, and you let out another curse.

”Wait—“ Quickly picking up your phone again, you hurriedly open your phone to call your boss. She doesn’t know where you live, maybe where you work, but if you can just not show up, she’ll never have see you… and you won’t have to lay on eyes on her, again.

”Hangie, please pick up.” you beg, fingers gripping your phone tight. Pacing your living room, your heart races, chest aching.

“Come on, Hangie…”

“Woah, what’s going on?” Franky asks, from the kitchen, ears perking up.

”I’m not sure,” Robin says, watching you with concerned eyes.

”Her phone was buzzing, maybe someone she doesn’t want to talk to, got a hold of her?”

As if on cue, Sanji eyes flare. “Anyone who makes my, __ cry is gonna get it!”

”Hold on, tiger—we don’t even know what’s going on.” Nami quickly passes him, jumping up onto the table beside you. She meows, attempting to get your attention, but you don’t even spare her a glance.

You seemed desperate, and much too fixated on your phone.

“Nono, she can’t—ugh please answer Hangie…” Calling your boss one more time, the anticipation builds, and the gruelling ringtone blares in your ears. Seconds feel like forever, and when a robotic voicemail echoes, your heart drops.

You let out a frustrated groan, throwing your phone onto the floor. Chopper’s ears droop when your screen cracks, his expression worrying when you cover your face, and collapse into the couch with a shaky breath.

The slapping sound echoes throughout the apartment, getting the attention of the rest of the crew… followed by a row of weak curses. Zoro peeks out from down the hall with Brook, as they spot you bury your face in your hands, with a teary expression.

The swordsman goes rigid, looking back to Brook who looks just as confused as him.

“What’s goin’ on?” He asks gruffly, walking into the living room. “Why’s she crying?”

”We’re trying to figure that out, too…” Franky mutters, watching Luffy nudge your arm, attempting to soothe you.

“She won’t even look up.”

”Robin, Nami, can you see anything on that thing?” Sanji asks, watching the two hover over your phone. They seem to be messing around with it, on their paws, eyes focused—and much concerned. It’s not everyday someone breaks out crying from a few notifications on the phone… but, Robin figured it was much more than that.

“It doesn’t say who, but they seem to be wanting to see her,” Nami says, looking back to you. She frowns when you gently push Luffy away, letting out a shuddering breath.

“How did she even get my number?” you mutter to yourself, voice laced with frustration. “I literally blocked her, there’s no way she could’ve gotten it!”

Zoro’s eyes narrow when you mention a ‘she.’

So, some girl was giving you trouble then, huh? Was that what all this living alone thing, was about?

Rubbing your tears away, you let out a frustrated groan. Moving to pick up your phone, you carefully brush past Nami and Robin who watch you expectantly…

“Dammit, how do I get out of this?” you mutter, glimpsing over the screen.

”Oh, you actually read my messages! I’ll see you tomorrow then, hun.” Cringing, you exit out of messages and look to your call-list.

Who else could you contact to try and get out of work? Maybe a friend could clock in for you—maybe… Maddie. She didn’t usually work monday’s, but you could try, and if anything you could just make an excuse on why you can’t go, and she could contact your boss for you.

She’s close with her anyways, and Maddie knows you well. You never skip unless you have to. Quickly hitting her contact info, your phone rings again, echoing throughout the living room.

”Who’s she trying to call, now?”

”I’m not sure, but she looks less worried..”

Luckily, the call get’s answered. “Maddie?” you ask quickly, “Hey, you there?” “__? Yeah? What’s goin’ on? You sound horrible!”

Sniffling, you let out an uneasy laugh. “Nono, I’m fine! I mean—I’m not, I think im coming down with a fever.”

”Fever?” Chopper blinks, looking up at you. “But you arent burning up at all…”

”It’s an excuse, Chopper.” Robin says, “I think she’s trying to get out of work.” “But why?” Sanji asks, “She seems to love being busy…”

”It’s to avoid whoever wants to see her, that girl—or who texted her and said she was gonna stop by her work.”

”Oh..” Chopper mutters, ears drooping. “She seemed so upset about it, I thought it was more than that.”

“It might just be,” Robin says carefully, watching you try and make an excuse for yourself.

“Oh! I’m so sorry to hear, do you need me to fill in, love?”

”Uh—yes!” you answer too quickly, sniffling again. Wiping your tears, you let out a relieved breath, “Yes, I mean yes please, I owe you one!”

”Love, you’re totally fine! That’s why I’m around, to help—don’t worry about it!”

”Still, thank you so much Maddie…”

”Dont. Worry, about it, you’re completely fine.” She says firmly, “Just rest as much as you can, I’ll let Hangie know for you.”

”Thank you!”

”Hangie must be her boss, huh..” Sanji mutters, solemnly, quietly wishing for a cigarette. “Yeah, Maddie’s probably a friend or smth,” Usopp adds, watching you hang up, and slowly set down the phone.

Everyone watches you let out a breath, collapsing into the coffee table again…. A moment goes by before Franky speaks up, “So, someone’s probably giving her trouble.”

”Yeah, but the question is who. And why…”

Zoro sighs, looking away for a moment before speaking up. “You know, it’s not our business. Besides, we’re cats and we can’t do anything about it.”

Sanji tenses, sending a glare Zoro’s way. “That’s a lie, we can always do something!”

”Really?” The swordsman raises a brow, challenging the cook.

”You know for a fact we can’t, look around. Look at yourself in a mirror.”

“You—“

“Remeber you two, she already handled it. The woman wanted to see her at work, and now she’s not going.” Robin interrupts before an argument can ensue.

“Zoro’s right, it’s not our business. It’s her personal life.” Chopper watches quietly, looking up to Luffy who sits beside you rather tensely.

”But, Robin, you looked through her thing with Nami—“

”Yes, to make sure it wasn’t anything dangerous.” Robin says factually, “We know nothing of this world, and nothing of her life. We still don’t know how we got here.”

Usopp shifts, “She’s right, and we still don’t know how to get back…” Silence echoes, leaving an uncomfortable ache to fill the room.

”Man, this sucks.” Franky mutters, “Not super, at all.”

“No kidding…” Sanji grumbles, watching you wipe your tears.

Later that night, your home was rather quiet compared to the chaotic morning. Even Luffy—who was up and running around, sat moping on your couch with a few others, as they watched a movie you’d put on for them.

You stand quietly in the kitchen making dinner, glancing over your shoulder every now and then.

Even you felt the shift… and you silently wondered if it was your fault. You’d nudged Luffy away earlier, when you were crying, but that wouldn’t explain everyone else.

Shifting the steaming pan in hand, you toss the grilled veggies to put them on some rice. Smoke rises overhead, being sucked into the whirring fan and oven exhaust, overhead.

Clicking softly with your tongue, you offer some treats in a few small bowls you’d placed near the back-door.

But, no one comes, not even the food-crazy Calico. Standing alone in the kitchen, you sigh.

You must be missing something, but nothing has worked. Not treats, pets—cuddles, going outside—nothing peaked their interest. You felt horrible, and you didn’t know why. They were just cat’s so… why did you feel so hurt, and emotional over their apparent struggle?

Could cats get depressed, too?

Well, at-least you could satisfy one of them. Earlier, after that episode of emotions, the calmest cat here had been messing with your phone in the living room, attempting to scroll and click buttons, as if it was a toy. You found it funny, so you let her have it while you kept yourself busy. You didn’t need to be procrastinating on it anyways…

“Everyone, I think I’ve got it.” Robin mutters, clicking on an empty google document.

“It’s hard to maneuver, but I think she’ll understand.”

“Really?!” Brook and Luffy chime, hurrying over. Nami’s ears perk up as she looks up from the couch. “What, how!? This thing’s so advanced, compared to any normal transponder snail…”

”Well it says on the buttons what things are, and the lettering is quite easy to understand if you can get the hang of it.” Her voice trails off in thought, “I think it’s what they call a keyboard.”

”Shishi! You’re so cool Robin!”

”Wow..” Usopp mutters, coming up from behind Luffy.

“So, we can really try and talk to her?” Sanji asks, eyes hopeful. “Do you think it’ll work?”

”Yes, someone just needs to get her attention…” “Oh! I’ve got it!” Luffy beams, immediately meowing as loud as he can.

“Luffy—!“

”Ow!” you wince, covering your ears. You think that’s the loudest you’ve ever heard him, and so out of the blue after everything… and that’s coming from the loudest cat here.

”What’s wrong?!”

Quickly passing the counter, you step over Zoro who sits like a rock—watching you with a flat expression. “Sorry, you wouldn’t move!”

“Meow..” You coulda’ asked.

Rounding the sofa, you see all the cats grouped together in a small circle…

Which reminds you of the time you found the first three; huddled together in a cardboard box, with a makeshift toy candle in the middle of them.

“What’s…”

A few of them meow, as if signaling you to come closer. Curiously, you kneel down and look to your phone, which they still seem to be fixated with. “Huh? How long have you been messing with this??”

Glancing at the purple cat, she gestures gently with her paw to the phone’s screen. Looking down… a written in google doc stands before you, and it’s not one you recognize working on.

Your eyes widen.

”Wait—did you—“ leaning over some of the cat’s, you read what’s typed.

Please don’t panic, we’re not aliens, and we aren’t cat’s either. We’re human, and someone made us this way, and we can’t get home.

Pausing, you read the message before you, again… and again.

Was this really happening? After the last few days, and all the weird things that you’ve experienced with these cats, they… really were, people?

Leaning back, you sit expressionless on your knees. It would make sense, but—god this is too crazy.

“This isn’t real…”

Robin gestures to the phone again, awkwardly moving her paws to type the next sentence.

It is very real, and we need your help.

”Oh.. you understand me. Wait—you’re typing my language of course you can understand me.” Rambling quietly to yourself, you blink, gently shaking your head.

”I’m sorry to hear that, that’s gotta be crazy…” A bunch of the cats nod, but Sanji—the yellow one, seems to be the most irritated. He’s probably missing his entire life right now…

“Uhm, well, Who… turned you? Do you know?” Based off their next reaction, they clearly don’t. The green cat growls—if that’s even possible as a cat, as if grumbling something underneath his breath. “Ok, I’ll take that as a no, then.”

Rubbing the back of your neck, you look around for an answer.

“Well, do you know where you live?”

The cat before you texts again; We believe we aren’t from here.

Huh?

”Like, out of town? Or out of state?” various heads shake, and your voice withers. “…Country?”

We believe we aren’t from this world.

You blink, slowly, and painfully as you process.

”Alright, uh, ok…” you rub your face again, whispering quietly to yourself. “Im not crazy, im NOT crazy, this is happening, and this is very real.”

Pinching yourself sharply, you wince shifting your forearm. You let out a long breath, watching carefully as the cat types again.

My name is Robin, and the two beside you are Usopp and Zoro. Brook is the white cat across from you.

The three cats nod in response, but the only thing you can imagine is the fact that you’d been babying these animals, correction—people for the last few days. Ugh, how embarrassing but, that would explain all the human-like qualities, how had you convinced yourself they weren’t people?

Talk about utter denial…

Shaking your head, you let out an embarrassed laugh. ”Oh—well, nice to meet you?”

“Meow!” Nice to meet you too.

The one yelling beside you is Luffy, and to my right is Nami, and the two to my left is Chopper and Franky in that order.

Slowly, you adjust to their names, instead of just calling them all ‘kitty kitty…’

You’d still been deciding names, calling them makeshift nicknames along the way. The most accurate one you’d managed, was Thing 1 and Thing 2, and that was only for Luffy and Nami.

”It’s nice to know your names—I think, thank you Robin,” you say, looking all of them over. “I’m not really sure what to say, I didn’t even know magic existed until now…”

”Huh?!” Usopp and Nami blurt, “There’s nothing like that here?”

Robin quickly types again; So I’m assuming you don’t know anything about this? You chuckle, gently shaking your head. “No, I’m sorry I don’t..”

The cat in-front of you nods, then she looks to Nami as they seem to discuss something.

Then, as if deciding, she begins to type again.

Will you be willing to let us stay here, knowing we’re people and from another world?

…Would you?

You’ve already had them in your home for awhile, and it’s not like you didn’t mind the company..

But, you knew nothing about these people. Sure, maybe their names, but not where they were from or who they really were…

“I…” your words trail off, and you quietly look to Luffy. In the reality of it all; you never felt unsafe once, even if they were just in the bodies of cats. They had cleaned your home, attempted to comfort you, and never once showed a single sign of hostility…

It couldn’t hurt, could it? Letting out a sigh, you smile softly. “You can, I’m not just gonna kick you out,” you chuckle, resting your hands on your knees.

“I’ll do anything I can to help, but I uhm, don’t know much about whatever’s going on, but you can stay here as long as you need.”

Collectively, the group seems to relax, letting out quiet exhales.

Thank you, we really appreciate it.

Luffy walks up to you, beaming with a loud meow.

“Of course, anytime,” you mutter, letting out a sigh as you gently pet his head. “It’s just a lot to wrap my head around, I mean…”

Looking around, 9 cats—or well, 9 people surround you looking at you with curious eyes.

“Hmm, well what are you going to do in the meantime?” Everyone seems to go quiet at that, unsure of what to say, until Nami walks over to the phone, clumsily inputting a message.

Is thre a library aruond here?

You blink, nodding. “Yeah, there’s actually one down the street from here!” Nami seems to light up at that, quickly texting again.

Do yuo think you could take us?

“Uhh… not tonight, it’s Sunday, and everything’s closed,” you start, watching her face, “But, sometime tomorrow I could take you?”

She lights up, and you smile in relief.

“Alright, then it’s settled! I’ll take some of you guys in tomorrow.”

Monkey D Luffy

🍖 In all honesty, unless you openly walked into walls or told him you were blind, I don’t think he would notice. Even if you did those things or if your eyes were physically different, he still wouldn’t notice. Not in a bad way, he just sees you for you. He cares about your existing skills, not what you lack.

🍖 After finding out, Luffy will immediately start asking if you have super smell like Chopper, super taste, etc. He’s confused but he has the spirit. If you did have heightened senses, he would find it really cool! He also loves calling out from random distances and getting you to find him.

🍖 Luffy himself has a very distinct smell of meat, so it’s very easy to tell when he’s around. He’s also very loud, so you’ll probably hear a mile away. He loves letting you touch his face and feel around his body, since he finds it fun like a bonding exercise! But even he knows it’s more intimate than when you do it with the others.

🍖 Never doubts your intelligence or your skills. He doesn’t care if you’re blind, you’re a valuable member of the crew, just like everyone else. Who cares if you can’t see? To him, you’re just the person he loves.

Black Leg Sanji

🍽️ He loves every inch of you, but finding out you’re blind definitely made him a little more protective. Not overwhelmingly so, but enough that it can become a problem. He just wants you to be safe. But it can feel infantilizing or like you’re some liability the way he shields you from everything.

🍽️ If you tell him it makes you uncomfortable or makes you feel like a burden, he’ll immediately start apologizing. He’ll beg you not to break up with him, not like you were planning on it, and promise to be a better partner. He’ll make you a special dinner with dessert just to prove how much he cares.

🍽️ Smells like cigars and whatever he’s been cooking, so he’s also very easy to sense. Every now and again, he’ll catch you off your guard and teasingly spook you. He was definitely crying when you were feeling his face for the first time, thoroughly as a couple.

🍽️ He’ll always tell you how beautiful you are, even if you can’t see it. He would also help you choose out clothing and accessories if you wanted the help. Despite being such a perv, if you wanted to get modest clothing, your wish is his command. He would never push you to do anything you don’t want. But he definitely would think about it.

Soul King Brook

🎻 Genuinely, his first reaction was “I don’t have eyes either”. That joke either landed perfectly or completely missed the mark, and there’s no in between. Either way he got hit on the head by Nami. Brook doesn’t discriminate against anyone, he’s still asking to see your panties. Which leads to another Nami hit.

🎻 Nothing is really that different than if you had sight. The only thing Brook is actually disappointed about is that some skeleton jokes don’t land as well because of your lack of sight. But he’s a persistent man, so he’ll either find broader jokes or tell you every bone and its location so you get the jokes.

🎻 Out of the three, can definitely sneak up on you the easiest. Other than a few creaky bones, he smells like virtually nothing and is really light. He’s always spooking you, and half the time, it’s by accident. He’s a bit nervous to let you feel his face and body since, he knows it can be a little off putting. But when you eventually do and openly enjoy it, even compliment it, all his fears fade away.

🎻 Since you rely a lot on your hearing, he loves playing music for you. He’s always humming a tune around you or plucking the strings on his instruments. He’ll let you hold them and feel around them, and even help you navigate to try to play if you wanted. He’s just happy someone can appreciate the importance of music just like him. And he’s happy that he has a partner who doesn’t think he looks scary because, well, they can’t see.
