“To your room, Meringue?” Oh she’s got his hand now, that’s happening.  Not that Music was complaining.  “I’m honoured!”

Music couldn’t help but stare a little bit as the brunette made his way over.  Damnit, why was everyone at the Nook so good-looking?  It wasn’t fair!

“Uh, h-hello,” said Music, attempting a smile at this unfamiliar person.  “I’m guessing you’re Belle?  It’s very nice to meet you!”

A Golden(rod) Date (w/ Meringue)

Music nervously bounced on the balls of his feet as he debated how to go about this.  Finding the Nook was easy enough - it felt as though it just sort of appeared when he thought about trying to find it.  Music thought it was kind of weird how that worked out...

The real trouble came with getting things started.  Sure, the hard part of asking Meringue was out of the way, and he had a rough idea of where to go today, but it had also been several years since he last went on a date with...well, anybody, really.  And he had to wonder if his appearance was okay.  He’d freshly laundered his clothes (which were surprisingly okay considering that he travelled a lot), and he was clean as a whistle, but he couldn’t really stop his hands from trembling out of nerves...

Music shook his head.  Now wasn’t the time to get cold feet.  Taking a deep breath, he tried to look calmer than he felt and stepped through the doors of the Nook.

“Excuse me?”  Music asked the person at the front desk.  “Is Meringue here today?”

Yes!! also just regular friendship as well. but lol you can tell exactly where my mind went with that though.
