She had her chin in her hands at the table over her plate of food, not hearing the voice the first time, but the second, slightly more urgent words, she jumped awake, her head jerking up to look around half still asleep, half in alarm. “What? Hm? I’m awake.” She assured before her eyes even fully focused on the dark haired girl next to her. She calmed a little at the sight of Scarlette, and yawned, covering her mouth and letting her cheek fall back to her hand. “Hey, Scarlette, what’s up?”
