“Just remember--” Myles said, softly turned the page of the magazine without looking up to see Abel, though he could hear the chair shift in place at the empty bar he was sitting at. “--that I am faster than you Abel.” A not so subtle threat, though eyes eventually glance above the page from Abel to the bartender. “This doesn’t have to be as painful as your making it, so why don’t you have a drink and relax. We’ll be here a while until I get the call so enjoy the time away from your poor stressful political life.” Sarcasm at its finest considering Abel was only the son. Myles actually couldn’t quite remember what the boy did.
“Speaking of,” magazine slapped closed, “what do you do? Don’t tell me you opened up a flower shop with all of your father’s money.”
