"Mister Starphase!" Hanabi quickly rushes over to the manager of Cade December and...why does she have so many bags on EACH arms?!

"Are you going to the cafe too? Prepping up before we actually open? LET'S go together! I would like for you to try something." And she's so excited too. Hanabi doesn't wait and she's happily skipping forward. As heavy as those bags are, she doesn't seem bothered by the weight of them.

trees aren't always the safest thing to climb, no, but they make great vantage points. as long as you don't lean too far and cause the branch you're standing on to snap with a sickening crack, that is. much like pascal here!

"GAAAAHHH!!" she flails in mid-air, plummeting down, down, down, and onto something... kinda bony? not the cold, hard ground, that's for sure.

ohh, it's a person! she grins (though it's unlikely he'll see it in this position, the petite woman sitting square on his flattened back), "hey, thanks for breaking my fall. that would've been a serious SPLAT situation if you hadn't moseyed on by-- lucky me!"

Slender fingers run along the worn spine of one book, tracing over gold-leaf lettering. It's one of many that have caught his eye in this little establishment that smells of a combination of roasting coffee, sweet pastries, and old books. It's a homey, cozy little place, with its warm colors and shocks of green from the plants placed throughout.

"Wow, incredible," he says, humming. Qifrey pulls out the book and turns it over in his hand, flipping through the first few pages curiously. It's a brick of a tome. "You know, I can't say I've heard of any of these titles before."
