After being on DR Tumblr for almost 2 years now, I thought I'd share some comparisons between my first Junko drawing and my most recent Junko drawing. Not the same AU, but they share alot of design elements (Shinigami Junko vs. Magical Girl Junko)

Anyway, the lesson I'm trying to preach is that change is inevitable, but that also means improvement is too.

One thing I wish we got to see in DR0 (and hope we get more of if the anime rumors are true) is Matsuda and Junko's dynamic.

We don't see much of them together and the little bit we see isn't really representive of their typical dynamic (it's like only looking at 2-5 and saying that's Komahinas whole dynamic). And we don't know how much of his and ryokos actually mirrors matsushima or how much of it is guilt he has for what he's doing.

Alot of what we have is speculation or one-sided thoughts during unique situations (Volume 2 Chp 6 and 12-14). But the animes have been known to add little details and extra scenes for stuff like this, so idk I just hope we get a deeper look into Matsushima/Matsunashi.

(And also my "Matsuda used the Kamukura Project to get Junko into HPA" theory is proven, pls kodaka I need this)

This will never not be funny to me in the way that everyone always depicts Matsuda as having extreme guilt and self-hatred for his involvement in the Kamukura Project, meanwhile Junko is over here like "Doing inhumane acts that nobody else is capable of all by yourself, Handsome?"

just realized now that theres only 14 slots in the morgue, which makes sense given that THH only had 15 participants anyway. But also, I think it implies what the original use for them were.

DR0 tells us that the Tragedy of HPA happened in the Old School buildings (where THH later takes place), but also that no one has told they families of the Student Council that they have died. And the cover up was a main plotpoint of DR0, the Steering Committee REALLY wanted this to be buried.

The Student Council has 14 members, 13 died during the tragedy and Soshun was presumed braindead with the hopes he would die (and he would by Yasuke's hands)

The morgue was definitely made to safely store the bodies of the Student Council while The Steering Committee did damage control. Its even on the same floor as the classroom.

I love how intertwined THH and DR0 are, that you can go back and connect dots that you didn’t pick up on first time. This, plus the part where Yasuke dies in the trial room, and so much deepth to both the book and the game. It makes it feel soo much more dimensional.

i know its fan made but i love this image so much. his execution tho... hmmm..

I mean obviously it plays into his hatred/fears of shitty doctors, as well as the drill being imaginary for a lobotomy. I dont why the fuck the hospital just decided to explode tho, I guess junko just likes blowing up her loved ones for fun (gestures to 1-5)

The name is interesting tho, given its a direct reference to monokuma and not some play on his talent or execution like the others. Like, i know monokuma as the fake doctor is important, but its just his color palette and nothing else. Unless its a reference to Junko herself? Idk I wish I had the artbook so I could look at its original name but whatever
