Izumi lifted his brand new camera. The weight of it, significantly more than the old one, felt as a proof of its worth: several months of part-time jobs and lack of sleep were finally getting their payoff. But it was all fine. It was something he had always wanted, just like his bike. And just the same, he had worked his ass off for the money to get it. No matter how much he complained and what he said, he was a hard-worker, and getting the desired prize after working hard for it was an experience of bliss he treasured greatly.
Now to enjoy his camera. He had decided to go to an old building, for the architecture in such places is the finest one can find, the run-down feel of the tainted walls, fallen stairs and broken windows a great objective for the lens of his marvelous new camera.
Snap.
He took the picture of one of the windows, remaining of curtains floating idly at the side, and then turned around to one of the stairs.
He closed one of his eyes, focusing all his attention in the one that was looking through the lenses of the camera, trying to find the best shot. Feet lifting themselves from the ground, he stepped to the side and dragged his body along with it, still focused only in the sight through the camera.
A bit more to the left. He repeated the movement, his body moving very slowly as he did so. Ah, this one position was better. he could almost guess a shadow on the crumbled stairs. Long black hair and silky white skin...
Snap.
As the flash came out, the figure seemed to turn even brighter. The shadow of the stairs twisting oddly in the lower end, where the diagonal should have followed a straight down line of black as drapped curtains. He could hear the distant sound of bells, like those from the shrines... Through a parted curtain or black hair, a lonely dark eye staring at him coldly.
Whole body clenching up, Izumi lowered the camera on instict, ready to face the woman in front of him. Yet, there was no one. The shadow of the stairs hid absolutely nothing. Blue eyes jumping nervously, he hastly pressed the back button on his camera to check. There was nothing on the picture either... odd.
A white hand reached for his back, tapping it strongly, and he felt his heart leave his body. Turning on himself with a gasp, he found a familiar petite figure right behind him. it was his little sister. Step-sister... but sister all the same. The little bother just had to appear with the worst timing.
“A-ka-zu-kin. Don’t just come out of nowhere like that! It’s annoying” he questioned, a frown going strong on his forehead now that the fear had subsided “I said you could come ONLY if you didn’t bothered me!”

//the stress is finally starting to get to me so Im gonna need some time off from writing... can I pls request for a hiatus for all my muses, Ruby Rose, Hajime Shino, and Aigis?
Sure thing!
Ruby Rose, Hajime Shino, and Aigis have been placed on a hiatus until April 3rd!
Tealorbs opened slightly, a gaze escaping the cover of long eyelashes for just amoment before the pain of the strong white lights forced them back into hiding.A stabbing headache pounded inside his skull, like needles being pressed oneafter the other, and shaky fingers gripped at the covers under him.
A voice he should have known called outto him, by his name.
I-zu-mi
Concerned shouts that diluted into thewhite noise inside his head, until they were nothing but distant threads ofsound.
Oniichan!
The word seemed to pull him out, blueeyes opening once again, this time to remain open. White lights. Whitecurtains. White ceilings. White walls. White everything. It smelled likedisinfectant and it sounded like emptiness. The only thing to stand out was theshaky red and black figure that continued to call out for him.
Soft round face distorted by the tears, small body that seemed like a breeze could break it in half, silver eyes thatshined like pearl in the deepest part of the see and black hair like the wingof a crow falling in an awkward cut. The mark of red that covered her shouldersshining brightly in the otherwise monochrome world in front of Izumi.
There was something about this girl -thiscompletely mundane looking and uninteresting girl- that resonated to his heart. That made him feel as if a terrible weight was resting over his chest. As ifthe tears he tried so hard to conceal were pushing themselves to run free downhis cheeks. And yet, he couldn’t bring himself to bring out not even one memoryof her.
Supporting the weight of all his body onhis elbows, he lifted himself from the bed. Or at least the tried. The attemptended up in a failure as jolts of pain rushed through his body faster than theflames on a fire, throwing him back down.
The girl bended forward, hands closingon the side of the bed until her small knuckles were painfully white, andwailed some more about him needing rest. About an accident. Unimportantblabber, Izumi thought, his head too strained to give it anymore thought.
“Hey you!” he called out with his usualsnarl “Just who do you think you are to go around ordering me?”
The words weren’t nothing unusual forhim, and so they rolled out with the ease of a second nature, his body gettingready to sit up for a second time.
Hewasn’t supposed to feel anything. To think anything. And yet, as soon as he caughton the silver pool of tears that those eyes had turned into, his chest startedto hurt once more.
The words that spilled from her mouth too… one afterthe other, dripping, dripping. Disbelief. Denial.
“Do you really think I’d joke about something likethis? Then you’re sure more stupid than you look, girly”
It wasn’t a joke. It wasn’t a lie. And the girl soon noticedthe utter confusion plastered into the blue of his own eyes. With a wailsimilar to that of a wounded wolf, the young rose, so small, so fail, fell downto her knees.
Crying, crying.
And there he was, unable to say anything to help.Unable to even understand why his words had caused so much pain in her.
He needed a new costume. A really cute and flashy one, but also comfortable. Maybe another one of Yuri’s old ones! No, he already had one sitting in his closet, just waiting to be worn again. In fact, the one he’d been using since last year was pretty good in itself, except for one thing: he’d been using it since last year.
The new year was supposed to bring out a brand new and improved Kenjirou Minami, and yet he felt the exact same. He was still the same height, weight, pretty much looked exactly the same, and he still was getting the same grades and everything. Nothing had changed about him at all. New costume it was! It would be a change, at least.
Kenjirou surfed the net until he found a website that made custom costumes. It looked like the costume maker lived in Bellevue, so he could save on shipping costs! As a high school student living on his own, he had to look where every penny went, even if most of it was on candy.
He sent an email to the person,
(≧∇≦)/ Hi there!!!
I’m Kenjirou Minami, and I’m a figure skater!! Well, I’m not a professional yet but I’m trying my best!!!!!! (●≧ω≦)9 Could you make me a really cool new costume? Thanks!!!

As much as his seniors had bothered him to no avail whilst still attending Yumenosaki, it would be a lie to say that Tsukasa hadn’t had a tough time when graduation hit. The first year, two members short, the next two more had left a bad taste within the youngest Knight. It was surprising, how tight a bond one could achieve in merely a year, was it not?
Of course he had still kept in touch with his seniors even after they left, although in time contact had started to become sparse: they all had their lives to live, business to attend to. But when Tsukasa had received the offer of a city name, recognisable from the tales of said seniors, admittedly it was a whim to move, but he had a feeling that something good would happen if he followed his gut feeling. The thing about the Suou family name was that it opened up pretty much any door, so even if he should fail here, it was not like he had no way of returning back on track. And thus he had come, and thus the search for familiar faces had begun; however, he had never anticipated for the older Knights to be so hard to locate.
“ Excuse me, miss. I’m looking for someone. You haven’t happened to have seen my seniors from high school, have you? One appears perpetually tired and I wouldn’t be surprised if you had located him sleeping in a tree in the park once. The other, well, he gives off this kind of feeling as being a person you should refrain from approaching, but he’s a good guy at heart. Probably. ”
