somnum has much more biological parts than many other Iterators. Their Ancients are extremely religious, somehow more so than the general populus, and thus based most of their research, society, and life around their religion, including their iterator. They have placed some extreme expectations onto somnum, and it makes them very meek and anxious.

to relay some of the stuff I wrote on paper:

their puppet is semi-biological and they have biological ears, some parts of the torso, legs, and tail. Their wings are synthetic (though may be changed later.) Their eyes are always closed because that is how their face was created. However, they do have a mouth! The little bumps on their face mark their mouth. They are able to detach from their can, often to visit religious ceremonies and organizations, which their Ancients have many of. Over time, they are believed to be a messenger of God (or a god) and can carry out their will, only making them more anxious because, well.. they are not. They have lots of art (they can draw on their walls), incense, and music in their chamber, and are often dressed in extravagant garb with religious purpose.

basically Arti and Saint hate eachother but Enot likes them both, and eventually the both of them warm up to Enot and want to make them happy. But they still absolutely DESPISE eachother, so they're both with Enot trying to be good partners but they're at eachother's throats :3

Hello Scav friend, my friends and I need to settle a dispute.

Do scavengers have mandibles? We must know, and I figure you would be the expert /j

ok so. I will make a post about my scav headcanons EVENTUALLY, but here is my thoughts

I think scavengers do in fact have mandibles! Their facial structures are so bug to me. It seems like their mandibles can either be visible or not. I think they can make some vocal sounds, but it's very difficult and not effective, instead using their own form of sign language to communicate. Something I think would be cute is that scav pups draw to communicate better because they don't know the language quite well :))

kinda just a ref for the mask and stuff and a few headcaonnons. It's hard to read so:

Vultures have grabbing claws on the bend of their wings. They must consume certain inorganic materials to create fuel for their jetpack thingies idk

So like. they straight up eat bombs. delicious

and they have legs, they're more useful when they're young and can't fly well, eventually they shrink in adulthood and they usually fly or use their wings to move

Masks are made from eggshell. A piece is broken off in a pup's face and stays with an adhesive. These do not grow back, but can be stuck on again, so vultures must avoid damaging them. I think Vultures have extreme face blindness idk

last but not least: vulture pups have fluff :33

I have some ideas for it but basically it's where all of the scugs are like spirits (I'm normal about religion and mythology I swear) and some are angels, some are simply just spirits, and others are demons

It's gonna be something kinda like the dating sim but I added lore

Anyways! I gave a couple of the scugs some spirit names! And I drew this all with my favorite marker I love it so much I posted about the same marker last night

HI yes hello I'm tired but I did make a post Abt them!! But basically Millenia (Endless Pires Reaching Towards Millenia) was an ancient with two children. I'm not sure the role of her children yet :') but she end up dying permanently (old age or illness) just before or during the great ascension. She is reincarnated as a scavenger, and eventually remembers bits of her old life, and desperately claws to the void sea, hoping to be reunited with her kind. But as a scavenger, she did not have enough karma. She made it past the guardians but dissolved in the void sea, now locked in her scavenger form somewhere I have no idea where rip

But another scavenger finds her. Slowly, she is able to leave her entrapment, bits of her body returning to their physical form. She begins to think of this other scavenger as her child. and ummm I don't have much more story bro sorry

here is the post I made!! The whole story is inspired by the song Here Before by Vashti Bunyan. I swear I'll make a post on my scav and ancient headcanons I swear:')
