Does anyone else do a better job at #reflecting? I tell myself I don’t have the time to reflect but when I do, I am so grateful. 👤Reflecting makes me appreciate how far I have come and reinforces how much more I can accomplish. So if you haven’t done it yet - look back at 2018 - you made it sister! You probably did amazing things you don’t give yourself credit for - you cared for a friend, you landed that job, you made healthy choices - whatever it is - look back, find gratitude for how far you have come because - guess what??? - 2019 has your name on it. You got this! ☝️here is my gratitude story looking back on 2018. In April and September, I went to the @stylecollective_ conferences #sccon2018 and they inspired me to set goals for my brand. Then, my #scsisters sent me a reminder note to ask me how I was doing with my goals! The cool thing? I had checked everything off my list. But for this note I would have forgotten these were goals I set and achieved! I wanted to find ways to better connect with each of you! So on that journey to connect, I had a goal of 1) starting my newsletter (thanks for those who subscribe - you get my 4 tips for landing your dream job even if you are not qualified - just for subscribing), 2) I started @notwonderwomanpodcast with the help of my partner in crime @corporatestylestory, 3) I started my @youtube channel with the inspo of beauties like @chicprofessor and @cherayeslifstyle and have been at least somewhat consistent in posting - would love for you to subscribe if you have not done so! I think you really get to know personalities on YouTube and I love that! And, 4) I finally was able to reach beyond the walls of @polished_professionals and was published in @times @huffpost and @business_dotcom thanks to inspo from @amandagailberlin and @annie_spano! I would’ve never thought that possible but I am so glad I looked back. Ladies you are more than you give yourself credit for! You are capable and strong!
