Today is the date of birthday of one of my best friends ever, Cheri. She is a sweetheart, a kind, loving, beautiful, and generous person who I am so grateful to know. She has turned nineteen today! There are so many wonderful things I would love to say, and so many things I wish I could give her on her special day, but to find proper words to explain how wondrous she is, would be impossible. But I'll try my best, yes?
I know you sometimes don't like the thought of being older, but it's good! Whether you think it or not, you have many, many more years to come and you'll grow to be a very old woman, so you should start getting used to this, LOL! You're so wonderful, darling. You get more wonderful with each year. I love you.
Happy Birthday, Cheri! I hope you have the best of birthdays as you so deserve, and I hope I can make tomorrow absolutely wonderful for you. Expect lots of hugs and lots of birthday wishes, even if it won't be your birthday anymore -- we can ignore that fact. I wish I hadn't fell asleep last night and had got this message to you at midnight like I wanted to, but better late than never, I suppose. I promise to do it at midnight next year! If everybody doesn't beat me to it again. Ugh.
