You have a gift, Jack. You see people. You do. I see you. And? You wouldn’t have jumped.

Moses, hear what I say. I have been a slave all my life, and God has never answered my prayers until now. God saved you from the river, He saved you in all your wanderings, and even now, He saves you from the wrath of Pharaoh. God will not abandon you. So don’t you abandon us.
It’s been... eighty-four years, and I can still smell the fresh paint. The china had never been used. The sheets had never been slept in. Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was.
And some things you just can't speak about // I’ve never spoken of him until now, not to anyone. Not even to your grandfather.
But now you know there was a man named Jack Dawson, and that he saved me, in every way a person can be saved.
He exists now... only in my memory.
What is your favorite small moment between Jack and Rose?
oh gosh that’s hard, not only because there are so many amazing ones, but i also tend to really like smaller moments over big ones? with some obvious exceptions, soo... here’s a list
“i’m standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one even looks up” but jack did
spitting lessons because not only is it so unexpected for an otherwise ‘grandiose romantic drama period couple’ and for its great callback, but it’s also so teenager of them and like, they don’t mind doing dumb and stupid things in front of each other, and i love it so much.
when jack turns down the caviar. i love it not only because of the deleted scene it originally refers to, but it works in the film just as well? because jack is someone who wants to try and experience everything, and when is he going to get the chance to have caviar again? but he turns it down anyway just to make her smile (or, in reference to the deleted scene, to prove he was listening and taking her seriously, too)
when rose tells jack to leave her alone in the gym and he listens, and she’s the one who approaches him next time.
the kiss when they’re each tugging on the sketchbook and kind of giggling too
“rose. how did you find out i didn’t do it?” “i didn’t. i just realized i already knew.” the love and trust she has in him. ends me. really seeing another person is such a gift and i’m so glad she could give it to him, too.
the way they don’t let go of each other’s hands till the last possible second in “not without you”
rose learning how to fly a plane, as shown by the photographs at the end. “jack, i’m flying” in more ways than one <3
See the date? April 14th, 1912. If your grandma is who she says she is, she was wearing the diamond the day Titanic sank.
