Making progress. More dry fitting and gluing tonight. Hoping to get the base section wrapped up by the weekend so I can start painting.
Spear of Dun Durn now on it’s scenic base I built. Only 9 more to go now.
Some progress shots from today. Getting the base ready. Made some bricks out of foam, added a bunch of debris to the top and then built out the “stone” base with milliput, using a stone to add some texture to it. Hoping to start priming this and the mini tomorrow! This has been a fun paint off this go around!
Glued the marine together and test fitting on base. Realized I didn't have Still Water anymore so ordered some clear resin (!!). Hoping to have this finished up this weekend.
Roughing out a concept for a mini diorama / scenic base. The Brookhammer Crew has another paint-off going this month and I wanted to take the time to do something a bit extra. We’ll see how this pans out...
Yesterday I sprayed primer over the base, feeling pretty pleased but didn’t get time to bust out the airbrush. This morning I woke up thinking “the sewer is in the front, but why would there be a flat brick wall in the back. So busted out the Milliput and covered it up and blended the rock into the sewer/brick. Never satisfied, haha. But at some point I need to just get to painting it as I’m running out of days to finish it & the mini for the paint-off
