This is Scented Filbert. Scented Filbert recently began to flower. Very cute.
Did I buy him entirely for the name? Yes. Yes I did.

Got this idea off Reddit to grow cuttings in a big plastic box rather than putting plastic bags over each one. Much easier to check on them.

Love scented geraniums?
We grow rose scented and lemon scented. Pelargonium Graveolens.
These make lovely house plants.
Ideal for a loo too!!
The essential oils in these is not only refreshing but also repels mosquito’s: which at some times can be a very handy asset.
Pelargoniums are usually suitable for culinary use, particularly the leaves and flowers. They may be used for herbal teas and to sweeten and scent desserts such as cakes and jelly. The Leaves may be cut and placed in ice cube trays for later use in iced tea or other suitable cold drinks.
A tea infusion may be made using 3 teaspoons of freshly chopped leaves, or 1 teaspoon of dried leaves and 1 cup (250mls) of boiling water. Let the leaves steep, strain and then drink as needed.
Thank you all very much for continually shopping locally and supporting us.
It is VERY much appreciated.
Thank you!
We’re here to help with garden and planting advise, just ask.
We are open seven days a week 10am - 4pm including bank holiday.

This is my plant shelf (curtain closed) 💚 it looks especially pitiful after the spider mite massacre of '18. The shelf was $25 at Target. The ceiling light is an aquarium light I got when I was thinking of setting up an aquarium (changed my mind for now), it's hanging from a couple of hooks by some fake leis I got at a picnic a few years ago xD the lower shelf is being lit by a clamp workshop light (I dig those reflectors), you can get them from walmart or amazon for around $7.
My newest bebe is the leafy top right one, it's a scented geranium, it smells like peppermint candy and it's leaves are as soft as a kitty cat's tummy and it's wonderful. Fortunately she is highly resistant to spider mites.
scented geranium (Pelargonium × fragrans 'Nutmeg')
The wonderful scented pelargoniums are flowering! These are cuttings from a mother plant gift from @lisburch and Sarah last year, which have grown into plants of their own now! #freeplants #freeplantsarethebest #scentedgeranium #geranium #pelargonium #scentedpelargonium
Thought I'd show an update on my plant shelf. Things have been going pretty well! *knock on wood*
My neighbor foisted off her massive poinsettia on me (I was gunning for her oxalis oh well) so I've been doing my best with it. Wish I had a better spot for it. The peppermint geranium is still around despite losing almost all its leaves- if this baby lives I'm a genius and we're all getting laid.
The wine glass isn't me being ostentatious, I just ran out of suitable glasses xD plus anything to get them closer to the light right? I stumbled on a fabulous grove of spearmint while walking the dogs so I'm hoping to propagate some clippings!
I have some better/more lightbulbs in the mail, amazon lost them but they'll get here, fingers crossed they aren't busted.
