ok hunter, do you think Derek told Braeden all these stories about Scott? like she heard about when he first got bit and how he became true alpha? and Derek told her in this adorable awe-filled voice? d o y o u?

I FULLY BELIEVE THIS!!! and that whole “if the money was good, i’d shoot you” thing? it was a front, she needed to seem like the hard-ass mercenary that they think she is but inside she’s like “hes just a teenager, how the hell is he dealing with all this shit”

and derek totally told her about how he watched 16 yr old scott stand up for the things he believed in and never back down, and how devoted he is to his friends and family and to those who deserve it

he totally told her about how in AWE he is knowing that scott became an alpha without having to steal it from someone else, because hes that good a person, a leader, that the universe granted him power it knew scott wouldnt take advantage of, and that if he ever lost that power, he would never have the blue eyes of a wolf who took a life

he TOTALLY FUCKING TOLD HER that after his own failure during his run as alpha (bc lets face it, i love alpha derek but he was a pretty shitty one tbh, no hate tho) he tried to look at things from scotts point of view, not only to be a better werewolf but a better person as well (and he finds it baffling that this kid a few years his junior who has been a wolf for practically a year could teach him anything about being a better werewolf, but its not about how long youve been a wolf, its how you use it to help others around you) and when scott came to him for advice or help, derek jumped at the chance bc being around scott makes you feel good about yourself, but knowing that scott trusts you with something in his life makes you feel like you can be better still

and braeden takes all these stories to heart and knows that scott mccall is a werewolf that she can trust to look out for the citizens of beacon hills, so she’ll protect and defend him for as long as he needs it, bc that’s what derek would do and thats what scott deserves

NO BUT LIKE. 

What if Scott brings home cupcakes from the local bakery every Thursday, and Thursdays are Derek’s FAVORITE because Scott always gets a strawberry lemonade for himself and a red velvet for Braeden and a chocolate chocolate chip with chocolate cream filling for Derek. So every Thursday Derek just like hangs around the apartment, makes sure they have plenty of milk, gets his chores done early in the day so that by the time Scott gets home, carrying those three giant cupcakes with him in their little container, he can focus on just Scott and Braeden and cupcakes.

Only this Thursday when he opens the container, instead of three treats sitting snugly inside, there are four. 

“Who’s this one for?” he asks, pointing to a bright yellow cake with a creamy glaze instead of frosting. 

“Oh,” Scott smiles and shrugs. He hands Braeden her cupcake, listening for the happy little whimper she makes as she takes the first bite. Then he says, “I thought we might use that one later. Stuff it in your mouth while we fuck you, maybe. Wouldn't that be nice?” 

He shrugs again, casual, but the grin on his face is filthy with promise. 

Derek might actually pass out. But not before he finishes his cupcake. It’s Thursday, after all.

Golden sunshine streaming through that giant ass window over their big ol’ bed where Scott and Braeden are curled up on either side of happy healthy glowy chubby Derek who is the warm gooey center of their love and puppy piles and also idk probably the occasional pack gang bang.

CAN’T YOU JUST PICTURE IT THOUGH?

All his hard edges are softened with a bit more flesh, happy and healthy and glowing with it, that little round softness of his belly furred with a thick line of dark hair that Braeden drags her nails through every morning when she wakes him up. She grins as he laughs and shoves at her, trying to wriggle away and closer at the same time, until they are wrestling in the bed and she pins him, all graceful strength and hidden power.

And when Scott gets home from his nursing coursework at BHCC he flops down on the couch and it’s late and he’s cold and okay, kind of grouchy, but Derek just throws his big, heavy, solid body over Scott’s lap, pushes him into the couch and hugs him and kisses him with rough-edged kisses as Scott digs happy fingers into the softness of Derek’s sides. He knows it’s difficult for Scott, being away from them both all day, so he just gives and gives until Scott’s laughing and panting, squirming underneath him, and Braeden says “Come to bed, boys.” 

And on Saturday mornings Derek gets up and he pads around the loft in bare feet and soft sweats and no shirt, the little chub of his belly visible as he makes pancakes because he likes to cook, he enjoys providing, but he loves it even more when Scott and Braeden takes turns tearing the pancakes to bite-size pieces, dipping them in golden honey or dark maple syrup and offering them up for his mouth, fingers painted with sweetness.

Okay but Derek Hale with a little chubby belly and Braeden and Scott just giggle to one another and tickle him and love up on him all the time and make him feel so good and safe and comfortable with himself that he he just eats right out of the palms of their hands, gives himself over to them for whatever it is they want from him. <3

Ahhhh! This is such a good idea and I need it. It's gonna be a bit until I can start something new, though. I have so many open projects to complete! 

Maybe drop it in my Prompt Box so it'll be there when I finish some of this other stuff up? It's very empty right now and is all lonesome looking. <3 <3 <3

On one hand, I want Scott to have this very earnest sit-down conversation with Braeden, where he looks at her with those big, brown, puppy-dog eyes and holds her hand and says that he is so, so happy to see Derek happy and he feel so much better knowing that he's got someone who really cares about him and (most importantly)  can also protect him.

On the other hand, I want, Braeden and Scott just topping the hell out of Derek,  taking advantage of that boy's great mouth and his great dick and his enthusiasm for sexual submission a the hands of people he trusts. 

Basically, what I want is smutty Sceraeden fanfic written by people who are better at this than me.
