she was trapped. yet again, but now with more foreign concepts applied to her-- she was no longer within the mundane. her mundane, of old ones and of blood. much rather, one that decorated shelves light after light, that would rather keep themselves at bay. maybe it were a haven, for no gore so far had been shed since her arrival. or perhaps, it was just by sheer luck that she’d been given the chance to .. rest. maybe adapt, rather. she wasn’t keen to being trapped, but much rather, she would simply close her eyes and finally be able to be at some form of ease.
.. nay, it seemed. the cosmos were determined to keep maria from having a good night’s rest. sometime during the night, she awoken from slumber. she instead, turned to walking amidst the hallways once more. more than just a little disturbed, her dreams offering nothing more than wariness, she kept a steady gaze about. scanning her surroundings like second nature.
