QUESTIONS:

1) If your life were a musical, what would some of its songs be called?

"Oh God These Lesson Plans Are Killing Me" "I Can't, I Have Dance" "Kindergarten Is A Source Of Never Ending Amusement" Edit: I'm adding "Sit Down We're Reading The Book" to the tune of Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat from Guys and Dolls. Good first day of school song.

2) Name one of your pet peeves.

Slow drivers. Please go at least the speed limit, and if you can't stay in the right lane, not the left. Do not tap your breaks for stupid reasons. Especially if you're on your phone trying to compensate for not paying attention. I will end you.

3) If you lived in the world of Avatar: the Last Airbender, what element would you want to bend the most?

Water or Air. Probably water.

4) Favorite Disney princess?

Cinderella is my favorite. Without realizing it, my prom dress looked a lot like hers.

5) Favorite Disney sidekick?

Genie. Carpet and Abu are funny too, but Genie is my favorite.

6) You are placed in a box with only an empty journal, a wrench, a pillowcase, a bottle of ketchup, and a lion plushie. You are trapped for 24 hours. How do you pass the time?

I'd put the lion plushie into the pillowcase and catch up on my sleep. After that I might write down lesson plans because with no distractions I'd be productive. Then I'd sleep some more. The wrench and the ketchup will be shunned to the corner because they aren't useful. Although I suppose I could use the wrench to break the box if it was cardboard.....

7) Favorite drink on a hot summer’s day?

Lemonade

8) Favorite food/drink on a cold winter’s night?

Tea and toast with jam for a snack. My mom used to make Beef Wellingtons for dinner growing up and that was delicious, but I can't cook well to save my life so that's out.

9) In a perfect world, where and how would you spend your “me” time?

I would break it equally between reading and playing on the computer, adventuring with friends and family, and taking super hard dance classes. That would be the best way to wind down. Naturally some of those adventures would be Disney related. I'd love to go back to Disneyland.

10) If you were a superhero, what would your awesome superhero alias be?

I was a superhero this summer. I was Super Sarah and I fought for science at the museum by getting the kids ready for their summer program with my presentation of awesome and their induction into the Extreme Team.

11) Favorite color? Why?

Purple. I've always been drawn to jewel tone colors and purple just speaks to me the most.

1. I'm 28 years old.

6. Usually mistaken for 21 - 25, though people say I look a lot like my Driver's ID photo, which was when I was 18.

7. I do! My Tumblr Icon is my tattoo actually - its a Norse rune called Kenaz. It stands for creative spark or fire. Its also the letter "K." 

8. I wouldn't mind another tattoo, but it took me a long time to decide on the one I have and I don't have another in mind yet.

9. I have five piercings in each of my ears, but I usually only wear the top two in each ear.

19. I am VERY VERY non-confrontational. 

22. I had thought I wanted to be a teacher, and that may still be the case. Right now I'm enjoying being a bookseller and working on my writing.

41. Much like you: I'd love to be in DCA watching a Mad T Party show. I really hope to get to see them in the next few months, but nothing solid has formed around that yet.

It is amazing to know that what you're trying to get across is reaching your audience. I'm re-reading the pieces for the first time in almost three years and can't help but think "I would do this so differently now," but I'm glad the original intention is there. I'm also super glad that you're enjoying it!

I teach kindergarten, all subjects. Thus the late start to formal "groups."

And I can post photos/videos of the show. I wasn't sure if anyone is interested in seeing them. I usually don't take any of my own and rely on others to do it for me. It may take a few days, but if you wanna see them I'll post them. Thanks for the support!! :)
