Today in Austin. All of my children are taught how to properly hold and write with a fountain pen. This morning my youngest wanted to start. He did very well. So I got new calligraphy pens

And I think I will start practicing with them a lot more. Nothing fancy. Calligraphy people.... What do you think of Scheaffer pens?

My post-dental procedures haul! Got my wisdom teeth out (FUN!!!!!!) so decided to treat myself and my partner (and driver and nursemaid) to something nice!

Goodies: - Moleskine skinny blank books for miscellaneous notes and whatnots - Scheaffer Friends of Winter (Plum, and Pine finishes) - Namiki Black bottled ink - Pilot Plumix for each of us, so we could switch out our Metropolitan nibs.
