omg i love brazil i can't believe i forgot about brazil.... i've never heard of where is the friend's hosue before, though, what is it about?

"Where is the Friend's House?" is about a boy who accidentally takes his classmate's notebook at school and then makes a perilous journey to return it. it's a part of so-called "The Koker Trilogy", a series of films (unrelated to each other) made in late 80's - early 90's in Iran by Abbas Kiarostami whose work i love (my favourite is The Taste Of Cherry (1997) something just speaks to me)

also speaking of 80's films... there's just... a lot of GOOD STUFF, i'd also add "Looking for Langston", "Blue Velvet", "Maurice", "Amadeus", "My Beautiful Laundrette" and so on not to mention Star Wars Empire Strikes Back but im trying to look cool here oh actually i had a phase when i just watched a bunch of Tim Roth films and "Meantime" 1983 is such a hidden gems?? like.. it's a tv film directed by Mike Leigh and perhaps it's one of the first times Roth and Gary Oldman worked together (dont quote me on this)

YOU BET. listen to literally all of their first album Turn on the Bright Lights (my favourite and also its just peak i have a tattoo of it). listen to Specialist which is a random b-side but i genuinely believe it’s one of their best songs. from Antics you should listen to Not Even Jail, Public Pervert, Length of Love and A Time To Be So Small… from their third album i rlly recommend The Heinrich Maneuver, Pace is the Trick & Pioneer to the Falls. from their self titled deffo listen to Summer Well & Try It On !! apart from that i also fw The Rover. sorry it’s 1 million songs but their music is just too good it would feel wrong to not mention most of these 😭

Nilsson Schmilsson is the seventh album by American singer Harry Nilsson, released by RCA Records in November 1971. It was Nilsson's most commercially successful work, producing three of his best-known songs. Among these was the number 1 hit "Without You", written by Pete Ham and Tom Evans of the group Badfinger. The album was the first of two Nilsson albums recorded in London and produced by Richard Perry.

"Jump into the Fire" and "Coconut", both written by Nilsson, also became hits. The album performed well at the 1973 Grammy Awards, earning a nomination for Album of the Year, while "Without You" won the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. In 2006, Nilsson Schmilsson was ranked number 84 on Pitchfork's "Top 100 Albums of the 1970s".

wait do you have any cillian movie recs i would currently describe myself as vaguely fond of him at one point i was distinctly overwhelmed by lust but i didnt watch anything particularly exciting other than his most famous stuff idk...

films that are not particularly good but i had a good time watching them:

red lights!!!!!! my favourite cillian movie i cant recommend it enough but it is NOT a good movie. bad in pretty much every way a film can be bad. but its maybe the most fun ive had watching a film

red eye. once again not good but was bizarrely a box office success so maybe im the one thats wrong idk you can decide. hes really hot in it :)

perrier's bounty. much better than the previous two its actually okay but i wouldnt put it in the good category but i did have fun

anna. this film is dreadful. to the point that i feel kind of bad recommending it but he is so hot that if you watch it in a cloud of lust like i did then you will probably have a positive experience

intermission. fun little irish film and he has a faggy little hoop earring in it. that should be enought to convince you

films that i think are actually good (you will prob have seen most if not all of these but just in case):

inception!!!! you've almost definitely seen it but its one of my fav movies ever sorry for being a film bro but it just is good. it is. and hes a hot rich bitch in it.
