The Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship 2025 is a major initiative aimed at empowering girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Students must belong to one of the selected states and union territories, which include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Puducherry.
Who is Not Eligible
Not all students will qualify for this scholarship. Exclusions include:
Those who are already enrolled in the second year or later of their undergraduate studies.
Students who did not complete both Class 10 and Class 12 in government schools.
Applicants already receiving certain other scholarships under related programmes.
Application Process
The application process is expected to be online and simple. Interested students will need to register on the official portal, fill in their details, and upload required documents. These typically include:
Aadhaar card or valid identity proof
Recent passport-size photograph
Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
Admission proof from the college or university
