I had wanted a MINI ever since I first saw the new ones emerge in 2000. After five years of driving my Corolla and beating it to pieces (as most sixteen-year-olds tend to do with cars), I could feel that it was time to start thinking about an upgrade.
I did not even for a moment consider anything other than a MINI Cooper.
And so, on a Thursday afternoon I made my down to Littleton and into the Ralph Schomp MINI dealership.
My sales person, Don, is fantastic. He had the answer to everything I asked, and so much more. I think I test drove about seven MINIs that day and the last one I got into, a beautiful dark red with silver top, as soon as I started the car, I knew it was meant to be mine. Within minutes, I was back at the dealership and ready to sign my soul away for the car.
Luckily, the dealership apparently does not deal in souls so instead they helped me find a great loan, with a good percentage and as soon as I finished signing everything I found my new car already waiting for me inside the building.
Gentle readers, this was the moment I fell in love.
It was a beautiful moment.
And the fact that my experience leading up to that moment had been absolutely flawless, I will be ever grateful for.
Thank you so much for all of you help, Don and everyone else at Ralph Schomp MINI in Littleton!
You have successfully converted me into a loyal MINI owner for life, I will definitely be back when I decide its time to upgrade!
