anyway so every time we have a test in my math class instead of just reviewing the material as one normally would we have to answer a set of review questions correctly and THEN we get the notes for the review so the people who can answer the questions correctly don’t even need the notes and the people who can’t answer the questions correctly and therefore actually need the notes don’t have access to them. fucking brilliant
anyway i just finished an assignment and i went way over the word count limit BUT everything i said was completely necessary to illustrate the point i was trying to make so if my teacher tries to get on my case about that im just going to be like a) please have higher standards for your students and b) eat my ass

i made a friend!!! :)!! since we both opted for gender neutral housing & they were temp roommate. we stayed in the livingston apartments it was neat. were both psych majors and in choir so were like the same person their names matt theyre cool . were mutuals now so they can see this. hi matt
SPEAKING OF choir ru has four choirs and they’re all really good and i’m like.. so excited to join the uni choir i want to audition Right Now Right This Second. i also probably dont have to take calc ??? at least not in the near future im so relieved.
i signed up for emails for ru’s hillel (jewish campus life) bc like.. i really want to be able to go to shul and this is the only opportunity i’ve had in such a long time it seems really promising. i would hope theres no pro israel bullsh*it which like you cant Assume but the first thing the club fair rep did was ask me abt birthright very insistently like. Lady.
(going to israel isnt very bad but the typical birthright trip involves chatting it up w idf soldiers so like........ lol.......). worst comes to worst i dont choose to revisit the hillel but still have the connection made w the (a?) synagogue & have access to services and stuff. ALSO!! i saw a bunch of cute farm animals today they have animals its for the science
i want to know who my roommates going 2 be and i wanna live on campus already i want to leave my fuckening House.. im going to regret wanting summer to be over once i have assloads of homework to do but im just!! hype. thanks
talking to other art students is a weird experience and frightening because theres an expectation that in order to succeed (especially in art) you have to dedicate yourself 110%, you have to put your work before everything else and spend all your time in the studio and be constantly, constantly working to improve and to surpass those around you because the art business is a competition and your peers are vying with you for jobs
and i cant do that. i can barely take care of myself as it is? i have to use my bed as a desk because my actual desk is covered in literal garbage and i dont have the energy or focus or executive function to clean it and i have to constantly make decisions like “do i shower, or do i do homework?” because the thought of doing both is too overwhelming
i genuinely do not think i am able to work as an artist career-wise and i dont know what to do given that im an art student and that there is nothing else i think i could do, either
ive been studying so much all week im dying by that i mean im sitting on the couch for hours until 10 pm, when i start studying, bc if im procrastinating then i must not use the laptop Clearly but anyway i got... no gym midterm, 95 on my english midterm, 92 on chem, 97 on design, no art midterm, 93 on spanish, tomorrow is math (easy) and apush (Disgusting..)
yesterday i went to my old highschool's coffeehouse (starting from junior year i attended my current hs) and i saw people i hadn't seen for over a year? which was on one hand, very neat and cool, but on the other hand, *dissociates bc The Passage Of Time is my enemy* anyway i read two poems and got some compliments on them :) (and on my hair)
