Concept: A teenage omega who was admitted to an all-omegas school and hates it.

LOL! Love this.

I literally just picture this as a '90s coming-of-age story. They hate it, but slowly, they make friends, get into Omega hijinks, and ultimately have to start a band for the school's talent show to use the prize money to save their club or dorm.

Or something like that. Lol

I can totally see times where they all band together to help make a nest or support a fellow Omega through a heat. The Bangs Incident ™️. Trips to town where they meet up with friends or people from other schools. Dances. Clubs.

I need someone to make a fic with this concept, or I'll blow up.

Recorder headcanons

SENsei: The first headcanon we did on @shiratorizawa-headcanons was about music class but we decided, hey lets just go with recorders. Was it necessary for education? Absolutely fucking not. Did it stop schools from doing it? Absolutely fucking not.

Oikawa

He was so terrible you’d think he didn’t have any musical talent if you hadn’t heard him sing. Even if the recorder didn’t require much focus, he would be more determined than needed to be better than everyone else. Oikawa may or may not have been trying to impress his crush... Oikawa may or may not have been used an example by the teacher of what not to do.

Hanamaki

He never brought it into school. It wasn’t that he was too cool for it but he just always forgot. The teacher made him use another one that was left in the storage cupboard but nobody ever actually wanted to use that spare because do they even clean that thing properly? He got busted on parents evening.

Matsukawa

He was the weird kid who used to beat other kids with his recorder. Not even thinking. His friend next to him keeps playing when they weren’t supposed to? Not anymore when you get smacked with a tiny recorder. Apart from that, he used to love making screeching sounds to piss off this one girl that thought she was the absolute shit playing her recorder tunes.

Iwaizumi

Probably the only normal kid in the class. He sat next to Oikawa all the time who would tell him all the ntoes because there was no way that Iwaizumi could read the music by himself, but apart from that, he followed everything smoothly without sticking out too much so the teacher wouldn’t pick on him to show to the whole class.

Yahaba

He absolutely hated playing the recorder. He already played the flute but the teacher still wanted him to learn with the rest of the class - bonding and all that utter rubbish. Yahaba hated that everyone would struggle and he found it far too easy but he just wasn’t allowed to sit out.

Watari

He wasn’t terrible but wasn’t exactly amazing. Just average. Though, what he does remember how obnoxiously decorated his recorder was; it was dark blue with a white mouth piece and puppy stickers all over it. Some kids were pretty jealous of his stickers but somehow he ended up as the cool kid because of it.

Kindaichi

He was an angelic little kid. Every time he had a recorder lesson at school, when he got back home, he’d be so happy to show his parents what he had learned. Kindaichi literally practiced every day because his mum was really happy to listen to him.

Kunimi

Every time he knew a recorder lesson was coming up, he would try to convince his mother that he was too sick to come into school. That’s how much he hated the recorder. The sound coming from a bunch of rowdy kids like that was atrocious and he has really sensitive ears. Kunimi just wanted calm lessons but that never happens in primary schools.

Kyoutani

He broke his recorder. Multiple times. Not on purpose, but it happened regardless. Okay, maybe he shouldn’t have gotten into recorder sword fights with the other kids in class but he usually won them so he wasn’t actually that surprised when it happened again and again. What matters is that he had victory.

How would the boys comfort there s/o who suffers from PTSD and there flash backs come back to theme when ever they are overwhelmed and anxious were there dealing with exams even through there grades are good or just stuff happening in life with them

Sen: Decided to make this about exams in attempt to comfort myself for the exam happening tomorrow. By the time this is posted however, I will have just come out of my first exam. 

Ushijima

As he says to those work hard and have fears about things like these, he asks why should they even doubt when they have the abilities necessary to get through things. He’s not one to understand mental health too much, but he’s as supportive as he can be and will always listen to any worries or concerns that his s/o has.

Semi

He doesn’t do too well on exams as it is so he may not be the one to talk to about this. However, it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t try to help them figure out how to calm down. Semi tells them that they don’t need perfect grades comparable to everyone else. He’s proud of them as long as they try their best because at the end of the day, grades don’t define a person at all.

Reon

He knows that there’s not much that he can say that would be different from other people but he’ll repeat things as many times as he has to, so long as it calms his s/o. Reon keeps a close eye on those he cares about and he would have known that his s/o was working as hard as they could throughout the year; if he can, he’ll be there for them at the start and end of the exam.

Tendou

He would have been helping his s/o to revise throughout it so Tendou knows when his s/o is about to be pushed past their breaking point. He’s been there alone and he doesn’t want his s/o to feel the same way he did before. His hugs are tight, almost suffocating, but he constantly tells them how well they’ve done, no matter how many times they try to deny it. 

Goshiki

Holding his s/o tight to him, he’s stumbling over every point about how much his s/o means to him and that they can’t be defeated by an exam. Describing them a little like a hero, he wants them to feel like they can overcome anything and will praise them regardless of what happens.

Shirabu

He always has feelings of incompetence but he’d never describe his own moments as being triggered. This guy isn’t the best comfort when it comes to any of this, but he’s someone that his s/o can relate to in the basest way so he makes sure that he tells them that they will smash the exam. He isn’t going to take no for an answer; while he’s not exactly the best at hyping someone, he’s going to make his s/o feel like they’re going to go into a battle.

Kawanishi

“Exams don’t mean everything” is the main message of what he’s saying. It may not mean anything from someone who’s failing at least two classes and never revises, but it’s all that he can say, knowing how hard his s/o has worked in school. He makes it known that he’s there for them through everything, even if not physically, but in their heart (no matter how cheesy he knows what he’s saying is)

Yamagata

He will not let his s/o feel down if he can help it, but… anything to do with studying is out of his area of expertise. Yamagata’s not an idiot, but he says he is compared to his s/o; he doesn’t believe in self deprecation but if it’s getting his s/o to cheer up when they’re making fun of him then he’ll take it. Distracting his s/o from what’s bothering them usually works with him.

Elaborating on my previous ask: In my idea of the omegaverse world, where people present in their teenage years, I imagine that all-alpha or all-omega schools would be an option, though the alpha ones would probably be more expensive than a lot of co-ed private schools. The omega ones don't tend to be all too well-managed, especially where preventing scent overload is concerned. Betas usually stick to co-eds or schools that admit by primary gender.

Aw man, lol. That all sucks, but lucky for the Betas.

Why are they more expensive for Alphas? And why, for Omegas, are they not managed well?

So, hear me out, but Gym classes. Imagine the DOGEBALL!!!! How do you think the different dynamics would play?

Oh man, I really don’t know. You can go really stereotypical or out of the box. I’ll just give an either or for both. 

ALPHA

They are going ham. Throwing balls at whoever comes in their line of vision, Omegas to even people on their own team. 

OR

They are trying to play something else. Something less violent. 

BETA

Trying to hit anyone really, not wanting to get the Alphas or Omegas angry at them. Essentially keeping the peace. 

OR

Team captain, knowing exactly how to play to the strengths of their teammates. 

OMEGA

They are hiding behind the Alphas or Betas. Probably actually trying to convenience the teacher if they can sit out. 

OR

They are the ones pelting everyone and catching every fly ball like the game is life or death.

Shiratorizawa Week: Dorm Life

You get pretty up close and personal with the people you room with. Sometimes a bit too personal, but what happens in your dorms, stays in your dorms.

Current Song

- Most of the time the dorms are quiet. It’s only when Yamagata puts on music does everyone suddenly decide to get rowdy. Maybe it’s some sort of pavlovian association but the dorms are just like this. It’s not unusual for people to hang out in his room as well (just so long as his roommate is actually okay with it.)

- Kawanishi and Shirabu are the only ones who room together. The both of them are pretty messy and all, but for some reason, their room is absolutely tidy. It’s only because they get annoyed at each other’s mess; anywhere else, their surroundings would become an utter shit storm without anyone telling them.

- Yamagata and Tendou walk around campus in their pyjamas when they know that nobody’s visiting. Nobody would judge them anyways; the third years have it bad with exams barking in their ears. People only judge you when you have socks and sandals and thankfully nobody is that bad. (Tendou wears crocs though and that’s arguably just as bad)

- Semi has a shit ton of food stored up in his room. He’s sort of become the ‘dealer’ of the third years. Need a snack that you’re not supposed to bring in? Semi’s got you. A few people are his ‘minions’ (as Shirabu calls them). How hasn’t he gotten caught yet? Nobody knows, but everyone’s too close to rat each other out.

- Goshiki, Sagae, Akakura and the other first years all gather in one of the classrooms on friday nights to watch a movie or two together. Technically they’re not supposed to, but after pulling a few strings with the third year prefects, it’s happening.

- As students, people have found the weirdest places to sleep apart from their dorm rooms. Now it’s become a challenge. While Ushijima can sleep in a classroom, Soekawa’s fallen asleep in the bathrooms (on multiple occasions) and Reon’s fallen asleep under the canteen tables. Kawanishi’s fallen asleep under the tarps of the art room and he was there for the night; the next day someone pulled it up and screamed.

- There’s a cat that roams about the school campus; his name is Yukio. Nobody knows where he came from but they’ve kind of just accepted him now. He climbs everywhere so sometimes he pops up at Tendou’s window to be pet only to leave a few minutes later. He hisses whenever someone he doesn’t recognise approaches him too.

Heard you were taking non-shy s/o requests, so how about a really really excited s/o getting really really excited about grades coming out bc they know they'll pass but also hopeful they'll come out as a dean's lister for the first time? Like jumping around, blabbing here and there, can't wait for grades to come out/grade consultation day kind of excited?? im sorry i just came from finals so this was what popped out when i saw your post :)

Sen: Sorry that this is a bit late from the time you sent this. I’m still revising for my AS levels (only a two weeks left) and I am stressed.

Ushijima

He’s not very good with dealing with bubbly personalities and all but he’s just as happy as his s/o is. He’s practically brimming with pride and tends to bring it up in conversations when anyone asks about his relationship. In terms of with his s/o, he’s bound to bring it up pretty much any time they’re feeling down as well, since he knows it’ll be something that made them really happy.

Semi

If he’s available, he would’ve been waiting outside the exam hall after the last exam, to tell his s/o that everything would’ve turned out fine. He has complete and utter faith in his s/o and he most likely helped them to study during their revision as well. 

Reon

He saw his s/o before the exam and he’ll also be there when they’ve finished as well. After helping them study, being a bit strict however, he’ll have eased up so much and he’s happy to treat his s/o to absolutely anything they want (within reason). When the results come in, he does tell them not to be disappointed if they didn’t get what they wanted, but he has complete faith in their abilities regardless.

Tendou

This guy will be equally as excited for his s/o when he sees their smile brimming with pride. He’ll start clapping and screaming for them (no matter who’s watching) and he’s absolutely shameless when it comes to his cheering. He reassures them that everything will be fine and that they’ll definitely get the grades they wanted.

Goshiki

He wasn’t exactly the most helpful when revising since he’s got a pretty short attention span but he’s just as excited as his s/o when he’s waiting for their results as well.  Jumping and babbling is exactly what he’s all about so when his s/o gets just as hyper as him... they’ll both end up being annoying to everyone around them but he doesn’t care because he’s SO PROUD.

Shirabu

He’s always on top with grades so he doesn’t exactly see it as some sort of miracle. But it’s his s/o so this guy will be just as hyped for the results as they are, even if his scores are overtaken. Yes it’s hypocritical, coming from Shirabu, but he tells his s/o to take a proper long and well deserved break after studying so hard now that the tests are over.

Kawanishi

To be fair, he does get a bit annoyed when they’re obnoxiously loud about it but he won’t say anything about it. He gets them to calm down eventually and holds their hand the entire hand to ease them. Kawanishi knows that they’ve worked so hard and wishes that he had the same motivation as them, so maybe it’s jealousy, but nonetheless, he’s hoping that they get the grades that they deserve.

Yamagata

He really doesn’t care much about grades but when his s/o comes telling him about theirs, he’ll be more than attentive and his praises are absolutely unlimited. In addition to this, he’ll be taking his s/o out anywhere they want, making sure that they actually have a break from all of their hard work as they wait expectantly.
