So after a long day at work with all it's flaws and getting out late, I was treated to a nice surprise in the mail. It's been a long time coming, but I finally have my first degree in hand. I'm so excited and still kind of awed that this is real and I'm done with that part of school. I'm starting my second AAS this fall and I can't wait to start that. My hard work and efforts have finally paid off. Dear Diary,

So I just emailed a professor about shadowing him in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. Potentially 5 more years, maybe here, maybe elsewhere, but then I COULD LITERALLY BUILD FACES. Career in restoring speech, function, esthetics, literally changing lives = pretty fucking sweet stuff. No promises, but figured might as well check it out, see what it's all about. Kind of super excited.
