Tips On How To Spice Up A School Uniform:

1. Check with your school to see what's allowed and what isn't. Some schools are pretty strict about what you do with your school uniform

2. Try accessorizing with jewellery. Jewellery is always a good idea. rings, bracelets, necklaces. When it comes to becoming your own dream girl we always strive to have something signature to us. If you have a meaningful piece of signature jewellery knock out two birds with one stone.

3. invest in some pins or a brooch. If you wear a suit jacket with your uniform or even if you don't you can add something to your outfit by accessorizing with a flashy brooch or a cute pin. There are tons to choose from these days.

4. If you're required to wear stockings or knee-highs when you have an option to wear a skirt instead of slacks, choose stockings and knee highs that are pretty. Something with lace, or bows, or just a general nice pattern.

5. Keep your hair and your nails lovely. When you wear a school uniform there's not always a lot of room for self-expression when it comes to wardrobe. Choose nails that are pretty to you and keep them done. And remember to style your hair in ways that you like. Experiment with braids, twists, hair clips, etc. keep it fun.

6. If possible, experiment with your shoes. For example, if you needed Mary Janes find some that you really liked, in different colors or with different heel heights.

Girls Uniform Plaid Jumper

Fits better from the inside out.

Ever notice how some jumpers cling? Not this one. It has a smooth, taffeta-lined bodice that won’t catch on clothes worn underneath. There’s also neat edge stitching at the armholes and neckline to keep the lining in place and an invisible back zipper. The fabric is a polyester/rayon blend that fights wrinkles and is surprisingly soft.

Beautiful painting by @jagartist From 2001, back when I used acrylics. I use oils now and the main difference is acrylics dry so fast so it's difficult to get those nice soft edges and the lush look of oils. The image I used was from a photo I took while I was a woodworking teacher at Banse/La Grace Combined School- a very cheerful and welcoming place in the countryside of Laborie.
