My new architectural crush, and another great Sci-Fi-Chi location.
This building in Kunming, China totally stopped us in our tracks as we exited at typically quaint and unassuming Chinese park at 11pm. It stood there ominously alone in a big square. We spent a good 45 minutes just walking around it taking photos and marveling at how completely different it looks from every angle. It really is a magical piece of architecture. The craziest part is that it is a major government building, which in China (and in most countries) are usually the least interesting buildings in the city. Kunming feels like a very special Chinese city in so many ways, and this building helped confirm that.
