So lemme start by saying thank you to everyone who wished me well at the doctor's. I really appreciated it, and you're all wonderful people. c: Now as for what happened, surprise, surprise, it's my sciatic nerve. *throws confetti enthusiastically* But somehow there's good news. The reason WHY I haven't updated on my back/leg is 1. I've been doped up on muscle relaxers all weekend and 2. I've been struggling to keep up with homework and work. T-T But let me explain the good news. Good news is that it may not be a herniated disk. Good news is it just might be a muscle in/around my hipbone pinning my nerve there. Goods news is when I take the muscle relaxers/anti-inflammatories the doctor prescribed to me, the pain goes away... Mostly. There's still a strange stiffness in my left lower back that still restricting, but I'm hoping it'll fade, because I have been working on this now for two months. :x But, more good news MY SPINE ISN'T CROOKED. :/ My doctor told me she wanted me to have an x-ray done as well as a EMG to see if my spine was crooked/kinked where it could be causing the pain. And the EMG is to see exactly where my nerve is pinched at. My EMG appt isn't until Tuesday, but the result will be immediate. I'll know where the nerve is pinched. If it's in my leg it's a muscle. If it's in my back.. It's my disk. Which means I need to then get an MRI. Which is MORE money I don't have. And then I need a needle in my spine to deflate the heriation. Granted if this medication works, it means it was a muscle ad I don't need to bother with a MRI. Like I said, so far, it's helped a lot. I'm no longer limping everywhere, and I'm not in any pain. But there's still tightness in my back. I'm hoping it's just stubborn muscle, or the nerve itself becoming used to being released. But I guess I'll know next Tuesday. Pray for me guys, my wallet cant afford all of this medical crap. T-T
