Force Jiratchapong as Arc Anol Perfect 10 Liners, ep. 6
building a paper + ping pong ball "roller coaster" track for a school-age STEAM program and i swear i've gone mad with power. i suddenly understand why people want to be engineers
Hypatia would be a safety stickler in the lab. It’s like she feels it in the force. This drove Mercy up the wall because he is safety conscious. Not his first rodeo on things.
Here is a list of grievances and proof to Master Hypatia that he was being safe when he was manually doing old school pathology..
Hypatia: you aren’t putting your knife guard up!
Mercy: WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS UP!!!
Hypatia: oh
—————-
Hypatia: you better not have any fingers near that blade when you are ribboning.
Warning photo has a blade in the picture.
Mercy: I’m using the forceps like you told me. My fingers aren’t even close.
Hypatia: don’t back talk me my young apprentice.
Mercy: Oo seriously.
@paperback-rascal this was a lot funnier in my head. Though it could have been the headache that I had. Hope you enjoy it a little bit.
"What Case and Ramachandran (2012) have named alternating gender incongruity (AGI) calls for such methodology. They interviewed a subgroup of bigender-identified individuals who experience involuntary (and sometimes distressing) swinging between gender states. These gender states include a feeling of being male or female. When occupying a transgender state (that is out of alignment with their birth anatomy), some persons with AGI experience phantoms of the (transgender) parts that are expected but missing. For example, when an AGI person assigned male at birth (AMAB) switches into a female gender, they can experience phantom breasts; when an AGI person assigned female at birth (AFAB) swings into male gender, they can experience a phantom penis. AGI suggests cortical (or other brain) generation (or disruption) of identity or unstable plural identities (in contrast to nonbinary, queer, or gender-fluid identity). The authors suggest that a biological basis for AGI might relate to the coexistence of two (differently sexed) body images or of one body image with both male and female parts that are turned on and off with shifting hemispheric dominance."
(Phantom Penis: Extrapolating Neuroscience and Employing Imagination for Trans Male Sexual Embodiment)
(To be clear! I'm not trying to say that all multigender/genderfluid people have it programmed into their brains, or trying to medicalize multigender identity. I just thought it was cool that multigender folks were included in a scientific article.)
I always thought it was interesting in the episode about the ozone hole and UV monster, Fumu and Bun have to wear these special visors to see in the UV spectrum to see the monster, but MK and Kirby do not. They apparently can just see UV light naturally :O So they might have vision more like birds or somethin?
... in regards to your arm hurting, it technically was science? if you had a guess to which specific finger beforehand, that would be a hypothesis, and then you ran the experiment, and you wrote down your data and formed a conclusion by figuring out which finger made your arm hurt. so basically if you had a guess, it was science. please don't fuck up your fingers though-
HA HA!!!!! THANK YOU KIND ANON
