What started as feeling of pins and needles after meditation sessions, stiff neck after hours of research at the library, muscle spasm and shortness of breath after fencing training and overall deepening fatigue that no amount of sleep could alleviate, went unnoticed for years until it couldn't be ignored anymore.

Hypatia would be a safety stickler in the lab. It’s like she feels it in the force. This drove Mercy up the wall because he is safety conscious. Not his first rodeo on things.

Here is a list of grievances and proof to Master Hypatia that he was being safe when he was manually doing old school pathology..

Hypatia: you aren’t putting your knife guard up!

Mercy: WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS UP!!!

Hypatia: oh

Has Mercy ever had to deal with a species that was allergic/extreamly sensitive to basic medical supplies, not just bacta and had to learn the hard way? ie: things that might give off electrical impulses, certain sound waves or frequencies, something that might be contained within a certain medication or object exc

Does Mercy know other asymptomatic carriers, or is the poor boy alone in his plight?

@artist-kreating-stuff I doubt there is an index of beings that has better immunity than others. Not to mention, I wouldn't be surprised if some people weren't even aware they are threat to others because of that.

Fix-it AU idea, where Mercy is asked to give Padme a second medical opinion. The whole confession ended with Hero with no Fear getting a couple days long mental health leave after Mercy heard all about Anakin's sleepless nights and anxiousness from his wife.

do you think mercy and my OC would get along?

Her name is Astrid Vizsla, she is a Mandalorian Jedi who suffers from ADHD and anxiety. She is often left out and disliked because of her Mandalorian clan, clan Vizsla, she loves art and music and uses music to calm down if she has an attack.

@astridvizsla Mercy is pretty easygoing, so unless a person deliberately step on his toes, he would remain friendly with other folks.

Also as a Jedi Medic apprentice, he is trained to let a lot of things slide, especially since people tend to do/say odd stuff when they're injured/sicks/in distress/etc.

When Mercy sees fellow Jedi in distress, he makes them recite the Jedi Code with him. However, he often say the creed out of the order, or switches words to see if they notice and by that he asses how much out of it they are.

(he also does a similar thing with clones as he goes through basic manuals/regulations with them)

You’ve noted on several occasions that your padawan OC Mercy is a part of a slow-aging species, kind of like Yoda. I’m curious - how old is he now in comparison to others of his species?
